When I go to the registrations page to download the latest interim build, it is always defaulted to "Recommended". I have always just done that. But I noticed that the link there to download doesn't actually mention the interim build----it just looks like CB 2026----so for the heck of it, I decided to click on "Other" instead. When I did that, the top link showed the interim build number of 3985 and I was able to install it. So I finally moved up from 3493 to 3985. Worked like a charm. So I guess, going forward when I want to install a new interim build I need to click on Other instead of leaving it at Recommended.Tue, 12 May 2026 16:26:06 +0000Would recommend charging it for a couple of hrs. Also try different USB ports on your computer. the 'Easy Setup' section of the setup sheet should be done first. Setup is easier in a wired state. I installed COMICBASE on WS2022, neither wired scanning or wireless works. I plugged the dongle into my win11 machine and still nothing. Not sure what to try now. I've mostly ignored grading in my collection, with one exception. I have a copy of X-Men (1st Series) #1 (1963), which I have entered as Fine condition. My database has two entries for that issue, the original NM, but with a quantity of 0, and a second entry, with a quantity of 1. Was looking at the Top Gainers and Losers report after this week's update, with "Owned Items" selected. And the top gainer by Value is X-Men (1st Series) #1. But the thing is, it lists it by NM value, not by my Fine value. Right now, the installer is seeing what is installed and getting the same version. I definitely do not have any older versions still installed just CB2026. I confess, I am a little worried to uninstall it because if I go to reinstall it and only get the Modify/Repair/Remove option, I’ll be stuck. I think for right now, since everything is working fine except for this issue, I will leave it be for now. I know I got the modify thing previously before —then 3493 build worked so maybe one of them will work eventually. If I really run into an issue of needing the latest build and still can’t get it, then I guess I will try the uninstall and reinstall. I tried a Dark Horse issue and it worked. Thanks!Tue, 05 May 2026 19:45:13 +0000To add to this. There should definitely by a 'Y' in 'Beryl'. It does NOT have Annual anywhere in/on the issues (cover, spine, title page). Just 'Beryl the Peril'. Per GCD, it started being published the first three were annual, the next eight were biennial (2 year) with the last two having a 4 and 6 year gap between them (assuming all published are indexed in GCD).
