@Lawrence McQuaide, for whatever it's worth, I just tried the installed icon again and 2023 Express is working for me.

Same as Lawrence... Updated to 2023 (Express) via the 2022 app. When I launch, I get a "sign in to register" dialog, and the app just dies when I press enter.
