Correct. All 6 issues (and even the Book) were in 2012. It should not have -Present and the cover dates corrected.

Normally when this happen, they are in the process of posting a new build. Unfortunately, the part where you are notified seems to complete before the actual build gets synced to its location. So, what you are actually doing is downloading the previous Build, which causes the the 3 option window (Modify, repair, Remove). Give it some time then try again.

Can you detail the steps you used? Did you use Items->Mass Change (or CTRL+M)? or Did you use Edit->Find and Replace... (CTRL+H)? Of the two, Find and Replace is safer. You can see what it is going to change before you confirm it. Either option would need to be run multiple times (once for each credit field). There is an ALL option for Find and Replace but I would strongly suggest not using it as it will not allow you to see what is being change (similar to Mass Change in that respect).

This is conjecture on my part but it had something to with security and open ports, I believe. There seems to be a difference between sending date (contents of a row) and sending files (the cover scans).

Unfortunately, it is working as designed. There is no progress bar or completion message when sending cover scans. Pete gave a short explanation why in one of his ComicBase Live streams. But I don't remember which one or what the exact reason is.

Yes. HC can supply more specifics but if they have a sufficiently large enough cover, they won't accept another even if it is larger. The specifics are what size is 'sufficiently large enough'. (but a 2000 pixels, I think that would qualify).

The column is Item Title and a note would not be appropriate for this field.

I looked everywhere I could and did find any such button. So, yes, just ignoring them seems the only option. And, FYI, I don't recall ever getting one of these emails.

You are correct and it should be deleted. Curiously, it has the same UPC as 'Clash of Kings, A (George R.R. Martin’s…) #9/A.

Since you are creating 'one-of-a-kind' items, you can enter it however you like. Just don't send the information to CB. Also, it won't have any information added/changed/deleted by the Update process. It will always be an 'Unrecognized Item'. Since this is an issue unique to your database, you can pretty much call it whatever you want (even create new 'Types' and/or 'Variations' for your own use). You could add Type 'Bnd' for Bound (as an example). As for trying to 'track' what has been bound, it reads like you want to do two different things. A) have a single entry for the Bound volume and B) have individual entries for what the bound volume contains. If you do a single volume issue entry, you could put all the Titles/Issues in Notes, Item Description, Item Title and/or Custom Fields. If you want to track each bound issue on separate lines, you could create issue Bnd 1 A, Bnd 1 B, Bnd 1 C, etc. and each line would have information on one of the issues bound. Also, you could create your own Titles if you wanted all you bound volumes in a place by themselves (could be multiple titles if needed). CB wasn't really designed for what you are trying to do so you will need to do all the manual work to set them up and make any changes. But it will allow you the flexibility to do this. (This is just what I have thought of on the spur of the moment. There could be other options.)

Correct. Finding that incorrect value is needed. With a number like 6,716, 879, there is probably just 1 (or a few) issues with a bad value. Running a Find for Qty In Stock > 100 should find any with a very large number for Qty. Having said that, I have been looking in to the number Collection Statistics returns and I not getting correct values for most of the dollar ranges. No where near 6 million but anywhere from a few to a few hundred. Also, while doing this I found 10 issues with a Qty of 4 (I only have 1 of each). If it was just one or two issues, I would blame 'user error'. When it gets to 10, I start to wonder what is going on.

If your Find returned about the correct number, then there (probably) isn't anything wrong with your database. You can try running File->File Tools, Rebuild Lists (List of Owned series looks like he best option but it won't hurt to run the first 3 (or 4) items. If you still have wildly out range numbers, there is probably a but in the process/find that populates the large number you are seeing.

Ronald, this is good and should be useful. But I think Fred is looking for both Missing and Owned issues in the Titles he owns.

Try this in the Where of an Advanced Find: I.Title IN ( SELECT A.Title FROM ComicIssues A WHERE A.QtyInStock>= 1 GROUP BY A.Title ) This is a basic query to find ALL Titles that you have at least 1 owned Issued and return ALL Issues for those Titles. More can be added and you can Order By whatever you like.

One possibility is to use the Marked check box on the Title edit window and check all of your Owned Titles. Unfortunately, you have to do this one at a time. (If I find time, I may be able to come up with a Advanced Find that will get around this. Will need to test it.) Once that is done, you can use Advanced Find to retrieve all the issues you need. On the Find result grid, you can select some or all of the cells, use CTRL+C to copy the information, then CTRL+V to paste into Excel. From what I am reading from your post, you want ALL Issues from ALL Titles that you own at least 1 issue in. Is this correct? PS for selecting the information you want, it is easier if all the columns you want are close together. If not, you would just delete what you don't want in Excel.

Can you give exact steps and options used?

I will add a little more detail. With Series I Own selected and ONLY Missing Items checked, when you click Preview, the window just closes and nothing happens. With Select Series selected, a few series manually selected (doesn't matter if you own any issues in them or not), and Items in My Collection and /or Missing Items checked, when you click Preview, it works and you get what you would expect. Only when you select the radio button 'Series I Own' does the Missing Items NOT get displayed or process if that is the only box checked).

I agree. I have come across on several series. Currently it would have to be in the one field. Not sure if that would make Finds harder or not.
