Rob Twohy Posted October 12, 2022 Posted October 12, 2022 I haven't purchased comics in about a decade, so I'm out of the loop. Want to get back into subscribing. I used to buy from a place (can't rightly remember), but they discounted about 40% and each comic came board/bagged. Anyone have a good suggestion for a place to subscribe?

Gregory Hecht Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 I think that the three biggest online subscription services (in no particular order) are mycomicshop.com, dcbservice.com, and midtowncomics.com
Steven L. Dasinger Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 Just to add to the list, there also https://westfieldcomics.com/.
Gregory Hecht Posted December 19, 2022 Posted December 19, 2022 Wow, I had no idea that Westfield was still around. I remember that they were one of the early mail-order subscription pioneers way back in the 80's (long before home internet was a thing).
Larry Robertson Posted December 19, 2022 Posted December 19, 2022 I never used them but I remember them running ads in Marvel comics in the early 80s. I don't think they ever did double page centerfold spreads like Mile High but they did a lot of half pagers and maybe a few full page ones.
Randall J. Paske Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 Westfield was the first sub service I used, starting in the late 1980s. I was always a fan of their service, but I eventually had to leave for a service that allowed me to order from the entire catalog (Previews or Advance Comics) rather than a narrower selection. At the time, they were limiting themselves to a one-page order sheet and leaving off some of the indie series I gravitated toward. I landed at M&M Comic Service, which I've used for years. For a time, that meant sending floppy disks through the mail to submit my orders, until the Internet came into wider usage.
Larry Robertson Posted December 20, 2022 Posted December 20, 2022 Interesting....never heard of that one. I used LoneStar for a while back in the 80s
