Ellipses, slanted quotes, diacritical characters. One or more of: Maybe a right-click menu option to add common uncommon characters... Maybe an optional docked or floating toolbar for common uncommon characters... Dynamic style-check that underlines possible errors... Format screening with a popup window when editing in the grid...
