I think that the answer is generally not.  They do pull from Heritage Auctions and from Atomic Avenue.  

However, if you see an item that is not priced accurately in the database, you can use the "check price" function in the database and point to sold eBay items as evidence that an adjustment is needed.

eBay is not main go to source for pricing.
