Alan DeCamp Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 (edited) I got this copy of Poison Ivy # 1 in a multi pack from an Ollie's store. The UPC is incomplete as in no price or issue number. I also included a scan of the regular issue for comparison. Any Idea what type of variant this is? It can't be a newsstand because those were stopped years ago. Edited July 5, 2024 by Alan DeCamp
Mark J. Castaneda Posted July 5, 2024 Posted July 5, 2024 It's likely a unique Ollie's barcode - Wal-Mart did the same thing with various DC issues in the past few years. We would designate it with the next available letter variation and note in the item description field its a Ollie's Store edition
Alan DeCamp Posted July 5, 2024 Author Posted July 5, 2024 Ollie’s didn’t have this made though. They buy the packs from someone else. I’ll enter it that way if you want though.

Those packs at Ollie's sometimes contain store variants (from other stores), incentive covers, and other stuff you wouldn't expect.
Alan DeCamp Posted July 9, 2024 Author Posted July 9, 2024 After thinking on this, I would rather submit as a "no price" variant. I believe we have others in the DB like that don't we?
Mark J. Castaneda Posted July 10, 2024 Posted July 10, 2024 I think Randall is right...This edition must have been picked by Ollie's since they sell a lot of other store's stuff that aren't selling well. We're finding a few these eBay noted from Wal-Mart. We'll add this to the upcoming content update.
