I log in and check for updates. It tells me there are updates. I tried to download and it gets stuck w/ an error code.   One of the error codes was "unable to retrieve the update file. Please try again in several minutes.  If this proceeds reboot your computer and try again."  This went on for several tries.  I also cannot access the reports on my cell.  I was able to at one time.  I update and print to server. It tells me that it was submitted and should be available in a few minutes. I waited for more than a day. Still nothing reflects. Now, my collection shows that it was updated 8/24/24 BUT the value is wrong and shows only 88 comics!  No idea what is happening.   Can I remove the program and reinstall it?  Will I lose my collection info?  I have spent more than 1 year inputting my comics and I would DIE... Please help. Thank you. I have the archive edition.

I can't address your problem but the program and the database (and pictures/media) are separate items. You can uninstall/reinstall and it won't affect the actual database.

Some things to check.

Go to the ComicBase website and under My Account/Profile, check what is in the Known Database list (may have to scroll down).

If you like, you can remove any/all entries, then, in CB, Run Collection Statistics (F12). This will resend your database name and id to the CB site.

Also, check under My Account/My Comics see what (if any) reports have been uploaded.

Thanks for the info. I will try and hope it fixes it.
