Comicbase App not working

Cant use item Lookup i search for a title then click on it the app clashes.

I tried this and verified that the app stops responding when doing a search.

I was coming here to report the issue as well. I can view reports but it freezes when you try to search.

Yep, I came to report the same thing. It was kind of a bummer not to have it working at the little comic-con I went to today.

I wondered if it might have something to do with the latest Android update. My phone was just updated, and the ComicBase app problem seems to coincide with that. But that might just be happenstance.

I'm using an iPhone, so it would seem the problem is wider than that.

It's working for me intermittently now. I've gotten a couple different error messages, so it might not be the same problem. But it did appear to be the same problem at first.

confirming item lookup is now working on my iPhone however I have noticed two titles are missing through the App X-Men (7th Series) and Scarlet Witch (4th Series) but both titles are available and have updated in the main CB program (2025)

I'm having the same thing haappen with DC's Absoloute Power.

None of the mentioned titles are showing in the app for me, either. Here are a few other ones that I noticed were missing:

John Constantine, Hellblazer: Dead in America

Helen of Wyndhorn

Black Widow & Hawkeye

Six Fingers, The
 

One commonality among all these titles is that they began in 2024. But not all titles that began in 2024 are missing.

I just checked again and the database still seems incomplete when using the app. Looks fine on my PC though.

titles that were problematic should be showing up now when searched for.

I checked several of the affected titles and can confirm it all seems to be good now. At least it is for me.
