So I had a rather frustrating experience over the weekend while attending a show. I was trying to lookup comics in the app, but both cellular and Wi-Fi signals in the venue were so poor that the app often ended up crashing after trying for to bring up the information for an extended period of time. 

Would it be possible to have a low bandwidth option when using the search feature so that it didn't try to download covers? Or better yet, would it be possible to have an offline mode where you could have a copy of the database sitting on your phone? 

Just thought I'd bump this post since I ran into the same problem again yesterday. Would it be possible to have a copy of the database on your phone that the mobile app could search instead of going out to the web? 

I've now saved a PDF on my phone of my latest collection report, but it's a little cumbersome to search when compared to the ComicBase Mobile App. 

I'm just going to bump this one again. I have no idea of the technical requirements or if it's even possible, but it sure would be helpful to have an offline version of my database on my phone.

Realistically, any mobile app is going to be hugely compromised without a solid internet connection. For the "Steel Faraday Cage scenario" (typical comic convention hall), I'd recommend saving pdfs of reports on my phone and pre-downloading them as a fallback. 

Thanks, I had a feeling that would be the answer. I already do the PDF thing, but you've kind of spoiled me with the smooth lookup function in the app.
