Olaf Oster Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 I did update from Professional to Archive Edition today. Downloaded the installer for the Archive Ed., did run it, it was like a normal update, removing the old version and installing the new one. It says Archive when i run it, but it's still the Professional Ed.. The “Download Cover” command is grayed out and i don't see any change. Is there something in the settings that i have to do to activate the new version?
Steven L. Dasinger Posted November 30, 2024 Posted November 30, 2024 Try this. Go the CB website and use My Account->Registered Products. Find your product and check the Serial #. In CB use Menu item Help->About ComicBase. Note the Serial #. If they do not match, in CB on the About ComicBase window, click on the Edit Registration... button, thenenter the correct Serial # from the Registered Products page. If they do match, I am not sure what is happening.
Olaf Oster Posted November 30, 2024 Author Posted November 30, 2024 The first thing i did before installing the new version was copy/paste the new Serial # I did try to reinstall the pictures just now, nothing changed. Will try to run the setup again next
Olaf Oster Posted November 30, 2024 Author Posted November 30, 2024 OK, i found it. I did click/right click the cover to download the scan, i did not know that i had to mark the entire row for the download.
