Wellington Chin Posted May 4 Posted May 4 This is a frequent issue I come across that gives me headaches and aggravation. I started scanning in my FCBD comics and when I went to "Check for Sales and Purchases" I received the below error message which then prevented the rest of my scanned comics from loading into the program. I updated the program, and the error still pops up. How do I get around this problem as it is so aggravating and ridiculously maddening that error stops me from finishing an hour's worth of work. It also makes me wonder if, when I do get this error to go away, that all the issues I scanned were loaded. I am not going to look at every issue on the program and see if it was loaded. I have written to you multiple times about this same error. When is this ever going to be fixed on your side? I am referring to the fact that one issue not being registered in your database causes the loading of the scans to stop. Why doesn't the program allow me to eliminate that problem issue and resume the loading of the 50 other issues? Please let me know how to proceed.
Steven L. Dasinger Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Question: What the version of your Professional Edition (menu item (Help->About ComicBase)? My Archive edition is v25.6.3.4085. If you don't have the most recent version, you can download it from the ComicBase website under My Account->Registrations. Click the 'green' down arrow next to you current edition. Or you can first try to Rebuild lists (menu item File->File Tools, Rebuild Lists). I would do the first 4 check boxes. If that doesn't help, try the download of the most recent version. If it still doesn't work, then I am with you with not knowing what is happening.
