hi i was wondering why yours and covrprices values seem to be in different universes,i dont see how they can be so far apart,im not saying yours are wrong

It's loads of comics but Emily the strange #1 you have it £64 but they have it at £30 just seems not close 

I have US currency instead of British Pounds but I think the conversion is £64 = $85.00 and £30 = $40.00.

I am not seeing any prices close either values. Specifically which Titile/Item # are you referring to?

Sorry. I just found it. 'Emily the Strange' #1 with a Price of $80.00.

Not saying this is where the Price should be but on eBay they have prices ranging from $287.50, $199.59, $89.00, 41.59 or so. (these are NOT slabbed). Some may or may not include stickers.

Looking at the Value graph, it look like it spiked in 2024. This might have something to do with it:

no thats fine,im not sure if its me,but i find covrprice very erratic,and they quite often get slabbed prices mixed up with raw too

Erroneous pricing does happen on occasion in ComicBase.  This is inevitable for a variety of reasons, especially when the program lists such a large number of items for which I suspect many of them (especially obscure issues) don't necessarily have a lot of transactional data to track in a given calendar year.  (As I understand it, CB mostly uses Heritage Auctions and Atomic Avenue for tracking values; automatically tracking eBay transactions can be difficult for a variety of reasons.)  

If you find specific items in ComicBase that are you believe are substantially divergent from current market values, you can use the Request Price Check feature in the program to alert the folks at Human Computing.  Note that the HC team will want you to specify where you are getting your information, and they will prefer to see data regarding completed transactions when possible.  

im more on believing the comicbase values,as for one,comicbase have been doing this a very long time,where as covrprice are fairly new to it 

Silly me, I thought he was referring to coverprice, the comicbase field, not realizing there was such a thing as covrprice.com.  The conversation makes much more sense now.
