Broken in two places, possibly for two different reasons.

 

1) Mass Change

Apply To | Selected Titles

Click the top item in the list, the Title is added to the text box above the list, but nothing happens.  Good so far.

Scroll to the bottom of the list.

Press the Shift Key in preparation to Shift-Select the entire list, which used to do nothing previously...
Now, it results in the list being winnowed down to titles that match what's in the text box, so only the first title.

I can no longer select multiple titles, as the moment I press the shift key to select more than one, the list is rewritten, removing other options.

 

2) Repost | Item Checklists

Series to Print | Selected Series

Click the top item on the list.

Scroll tot he bottom of the list.

Shift-Click the bottom entry of the list, which used to select the entire list...

Now, it results in selecting only the last item in the list.

I can no longer select multiple titles, as Shift- or Ctrl-clicking acts as a plain shift, canceling the previously selected item in place of the newly selected item.

I am experiencing the same report select issue.  Since the last upgrade, I am unable to select more than one series.  This issue exists for all reports.

1) Mass Change - still broken

I still no longer select multiple titles, as the moment I press the shift key to select more than one, the list is rewritten, removing other options.

 

2) Report | Item Checklist - apparently fixed

I can again select multiple titles.

 

For me, I can back into multi-selecting for Mass Change, as the multi-selection i held in common across Mass Change and Item Checklist.  So, I can select multiple titles while preparing an Item Checklist, and switch to Mass Change and use the previously-selected titles.

 

So half fixed, but there is still a problem with multi-select for Mass Change.

Selecting Multiple Titles in Mass Change is broken again, again.

Not seeing this behavior in the current build. Make sure you have All Titles selected, and nothing typed in the typing area. Please give us a call so we can set up a remote session to try to help you out.

So, it might not have been fixed before, I might have just been starting while looking at a title that wasn't at the top of my list, thus performing a different sequence of actions.

The problem is in which tool has the focus when you press the shift key while in the Select Titles window for Mass Change. If the focus is in the Title text box, pressing the Shift key is like typing a character, and the list filtering is triggered. If the focus is in the list, pressing the Shift key does not trigger the list filtering. The focus starts out in the Title Box (allowing someone to start out by typing a particular Title), so if you start off wanting to shift-select, you are typing the Shift while in the text box. Apparently, using the slide bar on the list does not pull focus from the Title text box.

Today, I started while looking at "Avengers, The", and that naturally has me select the first item in the list before sliding to the last item and successfully shift-clicking the last item to select the whole list.

But, if I start while looking at "3-D Color Classics", the first title I own, in that case, I naturally proceed to slide to the bottom of the list, and am unsuccessful at shift-clicking the last item, as the shift filters the list to the single title "3-D Color Classics".

Start while looking at "Avengers, The" and just press shift, and the list filters.

Start while looking at "3-D Color Classics", click on the "3-D Color Classics" at the top of the list, slide to the bottom, and you can now successfully shift-click on the last item.

So, this is work-around-able, but you have to be aware of the problem and aware of how to work around it. This could be made invisible to the customer if coding is added to have the text box ignore pressing the Shift key before initiating filtering in the list box.
