Two things. First, when doing a search there are two quick options to see titles released last week, and titles released this week. It would be a good idea to add a third option to see titles releasing next week.

Also on the topic, do you not maintain street dates? It seems like you enter issues into the database once and then forget about them. I've found several books that have been cancelled or haven't come out yet/been really delayed COUGHBatman #163*COUGH* that you are showing came out back in March, but just was only released on May 27th. So you would have never added cover scans (since you would not have gotten them), no one thought to check for them, and no one ever updated the street date to reflect it was delayed further since March? If you're not going to actively maintain what's really coming out, maybe don't add them to the database until the week before? Try doing a search for books released since January where you still do not have the main A cover and see what I mean. Maybe create a "solicitated" database in your main system that only you guys can see, where you add all the preliminary information, then once it's confirmed to be dropping the next week, move it to the active database. So as an example, every Wednesday afternoon around 2-3pm CST, Midtown Comics updates their listings of what books are dropping the following week. Maybe check that as it's a pretty big and reliable source. GIGO.

Instead of a new topic, thought I'd throw this one here.

When downloading an update, I'm given the option to not update cover dates. It would be nice to have a similar option to not update street dates.

Referencing the erroneous data entries for street date 2/18/2009 (with over 2000 entries with the wrong date, almost all are comic book 'books'), I had updated some in my downloaded spreadsheet and then uploaded them. However, they got overridden the next time I updated the database. Obviously, I'd like to keep the updated dates.

Regarding these entries (assuming I can find my corrected list), what's the best way to send them? If I send them via the database's "submit new or corrected data" will it flag/identify the changed fields, or is this a manual check by staff? If the latter, I'd guess a separate spreadsheet would be better, as it would be noted that the only change would be the street date field.
