July 20Jul 20 I was able to open it on July 4th to check for updates. I tried to open it Saturday and I've been getting the error every time. I have the latest update. I thought it might be the web root error we had a couple years ago. I added Comicbase and Sidekick to the allowed websites. I thought that was just an update thing, though. One thing I noticed the last couple of times I restarted my laptop, a log in box was appearing, I think for Sidekick. I terminated Sidekick multiple times (because it's never worked properly in 20 years or so). Anyway, I don't know if that caused the error. Let me know what info you need.Greg

If you're having trouble with the free edition (if that's what you're using), email support@comicbase.com and let them know what you're running into and what action leads to the problem.
