July 26Jul 26 In the "Amidst the City" theme, the text for the title information is coming up in black or very dark blue (instead of the white and/or yellow), making it impossible to read. I am running v26.3.0.4552 and I have exited and restarted both the program and the computer and tried downloading and reinstalling the latest version. Nothing changes on comic books when I select a new theme. I can change themes on other media with no problems.Additionally, the Previous Title/Next Title buttons function intermittently at best. I have not found a pattern to why they do or do not work yet. When they fail to work, they do continue to add titles to the history list. For example, if I go from Batman: The Dark Knight backward to Batman: The Dailies, it works fine. If I try to go forward from Batman: The Dailies back to Batman: The Dark Knight, it does not change titles. Each time I hit the Previous Title or Next Title button (it doesn't matter), it adds Batman: The Dailies to the history list for each click of either button. Edited July 26Jul 26 by Doug MedicAR
July 26Jul 26 I've also noticed that the Previous Title/Next Title buttons haven't been functioning consistently for a while. Some of the behavior, and the timing of when the problem began, makes me suspect that it may be connected to tags and how they are populated. But of course I don't know for sure.
July 26Jul 26 For now, the best way to attempt to fix the Next Title problem is to run menu item File->File Tools, Rebuild Lists and check Series Information. This seems to fix the problem, at least for awhile.
July 26Jul 26 Author I neglected to mention that I had run all of the File Tools as well. I might have been a temporary fix but if so, it was very temporary.
July 27Jul 27 Two things going on here (always best to move these into separate threads), but let's try to take them on:Can you send me a screen shot of what you're seeing on the theme/text? OK to send it straight to me at pbickford@human-computing.comOn next/prev--can you send me a title/titles which are doing the looping thing for you. Note: MAKE SURE you're using ComicBase 26.3.0.4600+, then do File > Rebuild Lists > Series information. If it still loops, I'd really like to know.Best,-Pete
July 29Jul 29 I've run all the file tools, running the most recent build, uninstalled and then reinstalled the entire program and it still happens. It PRIMARILY happens when I have "show only owned issues" selected. But it DOES do it when its set to show all issues. It will scroll forward about 5-10 titles, then stops. It does it to ALL titles, not just any specific ones or publishers, doesn't matter for any particular letter of title or anything.
August 2Aug 2 Author Pete, I sent an email just now with the text issue pic.I have not updated to the newest version of CB yet, in an effort to at least let you all see the issues, so I am still on 26.3.0.4552 for these pics. The previous/next title buttons didn't act up today on the same titles ("Batman: The Dark Knight" and "Batman: The Dailies") so I simply started hitting "next" to see if I could replicate the issue. I got up to "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns" and then "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (DC Compact Comics Edition)" where it finally began to loop. When I click "next" it only moves between the two titles. When I hit "previous," for either of the two titles, it goes back to "Batman: The Dark Knight Detective" and when I hit "next," it goes to "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns (DC Compact Comics Edition)" regardless of which title I came from and then the next title "Batman: The Dark Knight Returns." I have no idea why it couldn't have been shorter, more distinct titles. It's not quite the same but it is similar. I attached a video below.Previous Next.mp4 Edited August 2Aug 2 by Doug MedicAR Typos
August 2Aug 2 Author I don't know why I never thought of using videos before. It makes it easy to see and allows my convoluted explanations to make a little more sense. Here's the theme issue. Comics don't change but other media do. Themes.mp4

When I download from Registrations, I get a message that I am running a newer version of CB and no update is available within the app.
August 2Aug 2 Author I am running 26.3.0.4967 now. The previous/next title issue persisted after the update and after rebuilding all of the lists except the pictures. However, it appears to have resolved after exiting the program and restarting it.
