New computer with .cbdb transferred over, custom field names not working

Featured Replies

Hello,

I believe I have semi-successfully transferred my .cbdb to a new computer and everything seems to be correct except for my Custom Fields names.

The actual columns are displaying. They are check boxes and are showing correctly, but the actual columns names did not seem to have made it over.

Any idea on what I did wrong and how to fix?

The Names of the Custom Fields are not stored directly in the database. They are in a Config file 'somewhere' (it has been years since I thought of it and I don't remember the exact location).

If it can be identified, you could copy it over or it may be faster/easier to:

If you remember the Custom Fields names, you can just use Setup-> Custom Fields... and type in the names. The Custom Columns and their data IS in the database. You just need to label them again.
