Are the Sidekick - Save to Cloud Backups compressed before they are sent to the ComicBase cloud, or are they sent full-sized and then compressed on the server?

I currently have limited network bandwidth (living off grid), so it would be beneficial to have a compressed version of my ComicBase database sent during the Save to Cloud process.
