Thanks, but as I mentioned in the OP, I did try re-indexing the DB via that method and it didn't address the error.
-
I've tried updating to the latest build, v23.1.0.2156 - but I get the same error at the same point.
-
I'm continually getting an unhandled exception error when downloading the content update.
"System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Value of '101' is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' should be between 'minimum' and 'maximum'.
Parameter name: Value"
This is always at the point during the "Downloading new comic book cover images" part when it gets to 100/2,461 - clearly thinking that "101" is meant to go into the "Value" column where only the datatypes of "minimum" or "maximum" is allowed.
I have tried both re-indexing and optimizing my database, but this same error continues.
I am using ComicBase 2023 4K Archive Edition - v23.1.0.2073 -
I had an issue after updating to 2021 (build 1240) where, upon the first startup when it got updating the media file, an error would occur saying the Database was locked. I canceled the startup and made sure Comicbase was no longer running (via Task Manager) Then I started Sidekick and did an optimization of the database. Once done, I tried launching the main ComicBase again and successfully got past the lock point.
Hope this is helpful to anyone else who encounters this issue- 1
Unhandled Exception when downloading content update

The Rebuild Lists did not help. However, I reset the location of my Pictures file folder and re-ran the download; that seemed to work ok. There might have been some corrupt file pointer that was affecting the new covers download step. Thank you.
