*if you haven't already, download our revised CB2021 program installer (v21.0.0.1209) from your online account here: https://www.comicbase.com/mycb/Registrations.aspx
Double-check all your settings in Sidekick are set to your liking; especially Schedule settings.
For Sidekick to do what you set, be sure the main software is closed and your computer is on with your schedule settings in mind.

Hi Folks,
Please use this thread for any trouble with installing or starting up the new CB2021 version.
If you scan describe the steps that lead to any trouble and provide any screenshots, that would help greatly in reproducing the trouble on our end so we can fix.
Also note the CB2021 build number you are using.

Apologizes for the confusion, we are aware of it and the programming team is currently working on getting it fixed.
Keep an eye out on our main website, FB page, and/or email... we'll make an official announcement when CB2021 is full released at which time you should be able to launch into it properly.

our comics shipment came in late this week so the new content update will be pushed Friday afternoon.

make sure you're running the most update version for CB2020 (v20.0.3.3829), you can download/install the revised installer for it here: https://www.comicbase.com/mycb/Registrations.aspx
*if you update your database via ComicBase Sidekick, double-check your content update settings that the download cover option is checked too before you run your next update.

That's a known problem with letters like that. They actually do come through.

We typically only get the regular cover of most new comics on their release week. Overtime we get the variants added in future content updates.
Every week's new content update includes a batch of new covers and old covers; doesn't include the previous weeks' batches of covers - you'll have to manually download covers that you might have missed in older updates.

There's no style guide for this kind of stuff...
These days we treat graphic novels as just regular items but if its a Hardcover we change the variation type accordingly.
Box sets can be tricky. Ideally a Deluxe Set would be the first item type to go with if its a slipcase style item. CS would be used if the item collects a short run of issue numbers.

any particular reason you're going with the avery label #6523 rather than the other types we support?

Apparently in the main Print Window, the 'Export' button was never intended to be active for Divider Labels (so its a bug).
Alternatively, If you hit 'Preview' button instead, on the preview window that pops up you'll have an export button at the top/left of the interface so you can save out the labels.

do you have any protection software like Norton or MacAfee? you may have to setup a program exception for ComicBase.

if you change the Printer from 'Microsoft Print to PDF' to your actual desired printer, do you still get the error?

odd...i don't seem to have the problem with 4KArchive unless the problem is specific to an edition of CB2021. What edition and version number are you guys using? I'm running v20.0.0.1218
