    Try 'CS 1'

    Here are some examples:

    'Harvey Horrors Collected Works: Chamber of Chills'   CS 1 'Slipcover with 5 volumes. Collects #1-26'
    'Doubt (Ki-oon)'                                      CS 1 'The complete 4 volumes'
    'Firefly (Boom!)'                                     CS 1 'Includes all 8 regular covers #1, 1A thru 1E, 1G, 1H, the Box Set exclusive variant 1I, graphic novel Firefly Legacy Edition Book One and an exclusive art print by Dylan Todd'

    CS (Collector's Set) is sort of a 'catch-all' when multiple items are included in a single 'issue'.

    I added a cover named Bk 1-DLX.jpg and it showed. Up.

    If that is the name you are using, try either scrolling Up or down to so it has to refresh or leave the title and come back.

    If you are using the right name and a screen refresh still does not show it, then you have a problem.

    If it helps, mine does the same. I set optimize on exit >10% and it also always runs Optimize database when I exit.

    As Fred mentioned, I can just open the database and immediately close it and it still runs. I have exited using both clicking on the X and using the Menu item to exit with the same results.

    New Build 2137?

    Normally when this happen, they are in the process of posting a new build.

    Unfortunately, the part where you are notified seems to complete before the actual build gets synced to its location.

    So, what you are actually doing is downloading the previous Build, which causes the the 3 option window (Modify, repair, Remove).

    Give it some time then try again.

    Mass Changes to Specific Fields

     Can you detail the steps you used?

    Did you use Items->Mass Change (or CTRL+M)?

    or

    Did you use Edit->Find and Replace... (CTRL+H)?

    Of the two, Find and Replace is safer. You can see what it is going to change before you confirm it.

    Either option would need to be run multiple times (once for each credit field).

    There is an ALL option for Find and Replace but I would strongly suggest not using it as it will not allow you to see what is being change (similar to Mass Change in that respect).

    Since you are creating 'one-of-a-kind' items, you can enter it however you like. Just don't send the information to CB. Also, it won't have any information added/changed/deleted by the Update process. It will always be an 'Unrecognized Item'.

    Since this is an issue unique to your database, you can pretty much call it whatever you want (even create new 'Types' and/or 'Variations' for your own use).

    You could add Type  'Bnd' for Bound (as an example).

    As for trying to 'track' what has been bound, it reads like you want to do two different things.

    A) have a single entry for the Bound volume and B) have individual entries for what the bound volume contains.

    If you do a single volume issue entry, you could put all the Titles/Issues in Notes, Item Description, Item Title and/or Custom Fields.

    If you want to track each bound issue on separate lines, you could create issue  Bnd 1 A, Bnd 1 B, Bnd 1 C, etc.  and each line would have information on one of the issues bound.

    Also, you could create your own Titles if you wanted all you bound volumes in a place by themselves (could be multiple titles if needed).

    CB wasn't really designed for what you are trying to do so you will need to do all the manual work to set them up and make any changes. But it will allow you the flexibility to do this.

    (This is just what I have thought of on the spur of the moment. There could be other options.)

    Correct. Finding that incorrect value is needed. With a number like 6,716, 879, there is probably just 1 (or a few) issues with a bad value.
    Running a Find for Qty In Stock > 100 should find any with a very large number for Qty.

    Having said that, I have been looking in to the number Collection Statistics returns and I not getting correct values for most of the dollar ranges. No where near 6 million but anywhere from a few to a few hundred.

    Also, while doing this I found 10 issues with a Qty of 4 (I only have 1 of each). If it was just one or two issues, I would blame 'user error'. When it gets to 10, I start to wonder what is going on.

    If your Find returned about the correct number, then there (probably) isn't anything wrong with your database.

    You can try running File->File Tools, Rebuild Lists (List of Owned series looks like he best option but it won't hurt to run the first 3 (or 4) items.

    If you still have wildly out range numbers, there is probably a but in the process/find that populates the large number you are seeing.
