  1. There is no easy mass change that we can do (HC should be able to).

The only way to do this is to do a Find for the various misspellings and Change each one manually (then submitting the change.

Unfortunately, you would need to do multiple finds  (one for each misspelling) on the different columns (Artist, Inker, Colorist, Cover Artist, Cover Inks. Letterer, Editor).

The good news isthere are only a couple of each misspelling, usually  (at least when I have tried fixing some of these).

Just an FYI when I looked for J. Scott Campbell I found in Cover Artist

    J. Scott Cambell

    J. Scott Campbellel

    J. Scott Campbelll

  2. My database only has 1 title of The Flash (4th Series) so this appears to be the correct one.

You can use menu item Edit-> Transfer Issues to a Different Title to accomplish the move.

Just select (highlight) all the issues first before making the menu selection.

Also, when moved, the will show up as duplicate items (unless this has changed). If so, then once moved, you probably want to delete the duplicates that you don't own.

As for deleting the Flash (4th Series) title, once you have no owned issues in an obsolete title, the weekly update will delete it (or you can delete it yourself by deleting all the issues from it).

  3. Try Rebuild Lists with Series Information and List of Owned Series checked.

This may clean up some 'junk' (that is a technical term...) that is causing this.

If that doesn't work, you can try to create a new database and see if that has the same problem.

A more drastic step would be to delete the problem Titles (do this by deleting all issues). They should be put back in your database with the next update (or you can force an update by pressing and holding the Shift key when you select Internet->Check for Updates).

  4. Okay, we are getting somewhere.

When  you select the Collection overview, what do you have selected or checked?

    Titles to Print:

Current title, Titles I own, or Selected Titles?

If you have Selected Titles does it have a (x chosen) and if so what is the value where the x is) i.e. 1 chosen, 4 chosen, etc.

My Guess is that you have the 4 titles Selected. If you click the choose... button again, you should be able to select the 1 Title and the others won't be selected. (or at least that is how it appears to work on my database).

  5. Just an FYI. CB 2020 was written in a new programming language using a new database. Pretty much a complete re-write of the code.

Due to this, not all features or ways of workings of prior program versions could not be implemented (or implemented exactly the same).

This is just me saying this (not HC) but as they get more familiar with the programming with the new products some of the old features/ways of doing things may get put back. However, it is possible that some won't.

  6. The first thing I would try is a Rebuild lists  checking Series Information.

First you need to decide if it goes in Books, Comic Books, or Magazines (It is best if you switch View to the same as what you are adding but there is a drop-down box to select a different View).

Next, are you adding an Item to an existing Title or will the item be in a new title.

For a new Item in an existing Title, go to that Title.

in the middle of the screen on the right, there is a + and - button. Click on the + to add an Item.

This brings up the Item entry window (with the Number incremented). Change and/or fill in any information you want. then click Save.

For a New Title and Item,

At the Top Right of the window, the second drop-down box from the left (under the Menu Items) is a button with a white + in a black circle, click ad select New Comic Book (or Book or Magazine).

This opens a Title window where you enter the New Title (you can also use this to add an Item to an existing Title).  Enter the New Title name and click OK button.

This bring up the Title entry window. At a minimum, enter the Publisher and any other information you might know then click Save.

This brings up the Item entry window. Change/Add information then click save.

Either of these methods (there are other ways of doing this) should work and either show the new Item in the existing Title or the New Title with the New Item.

  7. Can you be a little more specific on the steps you are using and what you are trying to do?

I assume you are running the Collection Report. What options are you selecting?

Not sure what you mean by "including missing titles".

Ant that, somehow, 3 titles (which ones?) that you don't expect are showing up.

  9. Carson of Venus: Realm of the Dead has Item #'s 1/A, 1/B, and 1/C.

    While Carson of Venus: The Eye of Amtor has Item #'s 1, 1/A, and 1/B (and 2/A, 2/B. and 2/C, 3/A, 3/B, and 3/C).

Other American Mythology Titles seem to follow the 1, 1/A, 1/B pattern.

This is just a suggestion, but the Realm of the Dead issues could be changed to be consistent (1, 1/A, 1/B, 2, 2/A, 2/B, 3, 3/A. 3/B).

  12. This does sound like a bug to me and I have verified the same problem on my system.

As a temporary work-around,  check the box by "Display items after saving" on the Add by Barcode window.

After you save from that window, a 'find' result will be displayed with all the items you just entered.  At this point, you can change the Price (Selling Price) values and they will be saved.

(this is a little extra work as you have to go back to the each issue after scanning to make the changes instead of just scanning, change value for the issue in hand.)

  13. In my Archive Edition I only have:

    Mint MT

    Near  Mint NM

Very Fine to Near Mint VF-NM

    Fine FN

    Very Good VG

    Good G

    Fair FA

    Poor P

    <ungraded>

and all the various 'slabbed' conditions (i.e. CGC, PGX, and Restored PGX.

I will let the folks at HC address how a NM- (Near Mint Minus) is handled when posting to AA as I don't sell and have know knowledge.
