  1. few things to try:

    File Menu>File Tools>Optimize database

File Tools>Rebuild Lists>do both 'Series Information' & 'Item Information' options

Afterwards, try to process the latest content update again and see if you get through it okay.

Contact us directly by email at support@comicbase.com OR by phone 408-266-6883 if the trouble still occurs.

  2. the 'Save to Cloud' option is featured only in Sidekick mainly because the db file has to be closed; the file needs to be compressed then uploaded to our server without any interruption from user interaction (that could possibly happen in the main CB software). The process can take some time depending on the user's internet upload speed which can vary.

  3. if no preliminary cover is available at the time we input a future release info into the Master Database, we just wait for the actual cover to get in our hands and roll it into the next available content update. Hope that makes sense.

  4. try holding the Ctrl key as you start up the software to force a table re-check. See if that fixes things.

Still no luck, head into the File Menu>File Tools> run the Rebuid Lists one more time and see if that helps.

if you still have trouble, please contact us directly at support@comicbase.com or 408-266-6883 ext 403 (lead programmer Pete).

  5. In general, wait for the latest content update for the week to come out, especially for comics coming out on their release week. We just added the covers for the issues you noted with this week's content update which you can download now.

The database lists a title Color Your Own Cerebus in Hell?  https://atomicavenue.com/title/63957/Color-Your-Own-Cerebus-in-Hell  That should be corrected to read Colour Your Own Cerebus in Hell? (note the non-American English spelling).

Also, it would be a good idea to do a sweep of all of the Aardvark-Vanaheim titles to check their country of origin.  Aardvark-Vanaheim is based in Canada, but a lot of the recent Cerebus In Hell one-shots are listed in the database as being from the U.S.

thanks for the info.... we'll look into them.
