  1. Another thing that might help is some sort of 'style guide' for adding issues and the "correct" file name/issue designation nomenclature. I mean my use of DM seemed better to me than an arbitrary A/B etc
  2. Thanks guys. Sorry I didn't catch that on Secret Wars and Savage Avengers - that was my fault for having the View settings too tight on CB (should have tried show ALL). But the Wrightson Swamp Thing is a problem still
  3. So when running my stats I keep getting a few persistent "unknown Items" showing up. I have added these issue of 3 titles and they seem to be accepted (I got points for them I think)...but they don't seem to be getting added to the core DB. One example of a title I added and I then added the issue and it doesn't show up in the master is here: https://atomicavenue.com/atomic/TitleDetail.aspx?TitleID=77635&M=1 For the above I supplied the cover scan and all info needed including a blurb from the publisher. So I dunno what is up. Here are the ones left out in the cold: Unrecognized Comics Absolute Swamp Thing by Len Wein & Bernie Wrightson 1/HC Savage Avengers by Gerry Duggan Omnibus 1/DM Secret Wars Omnibus 1/DM I think I need some guidance on this issue as I buy a LOT of Omnibuses and many are not in here when I go to add them. I am happy to fill it all out but I need them to be put in after!
  4. Afrodisiac is a hardcover comic..but it's listed under books. atomicavenue link: https://atomicavenue.com/atomic/TitleDetail.aspx?TitleID=1913&M=0
  5. One Man Thread!!!!!! Seems working 100% now
  6. Anyone else having problems submitting covers the last few nights? Been having to try multiple times before they take....errors out with the attached error message and then eventually completes.
  7. I can't find any evidence that DC ever published a second Scarlet Absolute Edition (which IS a shame)...so that should be removed from the DB.
  8. Hmmm......maybe it was down for a while? I sent a new test email....lets see if this one makes it
  9. This still seems to be a thing. Is this a problem on Google's side or HC? Anyone?
  10. Anyone else getting bounce-backs from support@comicbase.com? I'm using a gmail account.
  11. I have the Sentient (TKO Studios) Deluxe HC...I also have the Slipcased Box Set of the single issues. Not sure how to add this. This is NOT the trade-paperback. This is literally a Boxed Set containing the 6 loose individual single issue comicbooks. I will attach the scans for the front and back cover of the box here. The back has the bar-code info.
  12. Finally got it to work! I could have swore I tried that naming (and yes I had even tried closing it down and reopening the DB). Ah well. Thanks Steven. Today has not been may day!
  13. So I submitted Sara TKO the Deluxe Edition HC and the title was added but with no issues present. Just like a placeholder has shown up with the latest update. So I have tried to add my cover scan in the program and it will not show up no matter how I name it. I will attempt to attach it here. Help!
  14. Well I thought since it's called "4k Archive Edition" that it would want a full 4k scan...which would be 2160 pixel height.
  15. I thought I understood the cover submission system but I guess there are more rules at work here than I thought. It's not just driven by "if yours is larger it will ask for it". For example I just attempted to submit my 2160 pixel height version of Uncanny X-Men #444. The existing cover was 2032 pixels in height (4k Archive Edition). It did NOT ask for my scan! So I am guessing there must be some "good enough" rule in place here?
  16. So what is the best & least bothersome way to submit cover scans that are by any measure higher quality (sharper, trimmed better, better color/etc) than what is already in the 4k DB? I have more than a few that are much better quality but the automatic submit doesn't pick it up because the existing file is already 2160 pixels in height. Would it be better done with an email or here or what?
  17. I would be happy with either of these scenarios: Pete/CB Editors CHOOSE an appropriate cover image for each series (this would also make the Atomic Avenue pages look nicer) or They bake in an over-ride option of the auto select as it is now and allow the user to choose on his local DB.
  18. I don't know if Pete is aware but StreamYard has a nifty built in feature to draw a name from the chat at random based on them putting in a word....like PETERPARKER if the question was Spider-Man's identity. That way he would never again have to figure out who was first with the correct answer. He would say "you have 10 seconds (or whatever) to tyep the correct answer" (and tell the chat to use no spaces)..then when he hits DRAW it randomly selects a chatter with that answer. It even has a cool animation for the draw. And no I do not work for StreamYard I've just been in a LOT of YT LiveStreams running StreamYard
  19. Is this just a ME problem or is anyone else really put off that when you bring up a series like Uncanny X-Men the default image that comes in is NOT the beautiful Terry Austin cover of issue 142 but rather the NOT SO beautiful 1997 minus 1 cover image? I'm really not sure how this could be fixed because obviously it's defaulting to the lowest issue number and -1 technically comes before 142 (or 1). Perhaps some option to select which issue's cover to use as the default series image? It just seems so wrong for this gimmicky '90s relic to represent a series like this that would be better served with a classic John Byrne/Terry Austin one for example? So if not a check box to over ride a numerically chosen one then maybe we designate Minus Ones in some other way so they stop cutting the line like that!
  20. So if say - I had a scan 32.jpg that was 1440x2160 size 1.2 megs & a CB download had one that was 1441x2160 would that replace mine? Or if the CB one was 1440x2160 and 1.3 megs would that not also replace mine?
