James J. Reaves Posted January 26, 2022 Share Posted January 26, 2022 Entering my collection, finally got to the B's. First issue of "Blade: Vampire Hunter" (1999-2000), I hit a snag. There are two UPC codes in the database for issue one, and mine doesn't match either. The UPC in the database for the issue is 75960604796300111; I have attached a photo of mine. Steven L. Dasinger Posted January 27, 2022 Share Posted January 27, 2022 Yes, I believe you are correct. The cover in CB and MyComicShop are both specifically listed as Direct Edition in the UPC box. Around that time, the newsstand UPCs appears to be the shorter version where the last two numbers are the Month (and they were reused the next year for the same month. You can see this format at Mile High Comics (but for #2 as there isn't a #1 newsstand listed there). Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
