I just checked again and the database still seems incomplete when using the app. Looks fine on my PC though.
-
I just tried it and it is working for me.
-
Seems to be working for me now.
-
I'm using an iPhone, so it would seem the problem is wider than that.

I was coming here to report the issue as well. I can view reports but it freezes when you try to search.
-
Fair enough. I had a feeling that might be the case. Thanks for the info.

I've just been organizing my collection and noticed that many of the Convergence books have higher values than I would have have expected given that they were mostly filler while DC moved offices. Does anyone know why they've gone up so much?
-
That did the trick. Thanks!

You may want to wait until after adding them to change their condition. I have the box "display after saving" checked so I can make changes to any fields then.
Yes, that would be the easiest work around. I think I'll stick to doing it that way.

Yes, I am running the latest build: 2024 4K Archive Edition, v24.1.0.1213
Yes, these are labels created from the same database, and it only seems to be items under the Magazine category. I can scan comic book labels just fine.
I am using a Dymo LabelWriter 320.

It happens every time I scan this book.
I just tried Who's Who Update '88 #3 and #4 and I get the same error. I can try a few others if you like. Let me know.

Sorry to create two threads within minutes of each other, but I've never seen this error before.
I just added "Scout Handbook" to my database and printed of an ID label for it. When I scan the newly created ID label with my barcode scanner I get the following error.
If it helps, this book is filed under the Magazine section.
I am running 2024 4K Archive Edition, v24.1.0.1213 under Windows 11.

I entered a batch of dollar bin comics I purchased using the "Add by Barcode" feature this morning and adjusted the purchase price and and condition while entering them. When I went back and checked my inventory it had created duplicates. I can understand why this would happen if I already had the same issues in stock in a different condition, but I didn't own any of the issues I entered.
I've experienced this before when the issue I entered had "wanted" ticked off, but this time it was happening with comics where this wasn't the case. See example below:
Is there any reason why the system wouldn't simply make a change to the the Near Mint copy with 0 issues?
Thanks.

Similar to the Overall Title field you can use under Title information, would it be possible to have something under storylines that would let you pull up all issues from a crossover?
For instance, Marvel ran Contest of Chaos across many of its 2023 Annuals, so in theory you would be able to click on the Overall Storyline to pull up all issues from the crossover.
I'm not sure if there would be a way to differentiate between tie-in issues and and issues that are directly part of the crossover, but that would be great too.
Thanks!

@Mark J. Castaneda I ran a Collection overview for books, magazines, and comics, and none of them display cover images, however, the auto-generated collection overviews for all three categories display cover images.
I also ran item checklists of series I own with "items in my collection " checked for all three categories and they also do not have any cover images when looking at the reports under My Comics. However the cover images do appear if you do preview of the report.

Weird... i'm able to get covers with a Collection Report for Comic Books but not Magazines. Can you confirm @Andrew d’Entremont the same result on your end?
I just ran a collection report for comics and I am also getting covers. It's only Books and Magazines that won't display covers when running a report and using the Save to Web function.

I just noticed that ID labels are printing titles much bigger now when space allows for it. That's a great little update. Thanks!
And just out of curiosity, how hard would it be to add a few new fields to the ID label? One I'd really like to see is the cover date.

Here's what a report for Magazines looks like:

Thanks. My reports are showing up now. But I do have another question. Is there a reason cover images won't display on the reports that I generate myself? Cover images are present on the auto generated reports but not my own, and I do have the standard image size selected when I create the report.
Thanks!

I was just coming here to comment on this as well. The last auto-generated report I have is from March 26th. I also ran a few custom reports and saved to web last week and they have yet to show up.

As of my post yesterday it was still the smaller image, but I just checked this morning and it looks like a larger image became available on your end. When I checked the picture folder I found a new image larger than the one I had been trying to add.
So problem solved I guess. At least until it happens again.

Yes. The exact same for both.

I checked several of the affected titles and can confirm it all seems to be good now. At least it is for me.
Thanks!
