  1. This week's update added the comic title Lego Star Wars: Strong WIth the Force. That should be updated to either Lego Star Wars: Strong With the Force or (if I correctly understand CB's current conventions) Lego Star Wars: Strong with the Force.
  2. Also, in looking at the existing listings for the current Batman: Gotham by Gaslight title in the database, I see that issues #1-2, #1-3, and #1-7 all state that they reprint the original Batman: Gotham by Gaslight and also Batman: Master of the Future, but none of the other issues that are in the so-called deluxe edition. So those items would need to go into their own title as well. I don't own any of them, so I don't know how the indicia reads. But I suspect that when we are all done there will be something along lines of the following in the databse: • Batman: Gotham by Gaslight [the original 1989 one-shot] • Batman: Gotham by Gaslight (2nd series) [would cover the editions from 2006 through ???? that reprint B:GbG and B:MotF; currently listed as #1-2, #1-3, and #1-7 in the database] • Batman: Gotham by Gaslight (3rd series) [would cover the so-called deluxe hardcover and new trade paperback that reprint B:GbG, B:MotF, Countdown Presents: The Search for Ray Palmer: Gotham by Gaslight #1, and Convergence: Shazam! #1 & #2. Also: it also looks like issue #1-8 in the database is the same thing as the brand new "deluxe" trade paperback. So that the info for that issue can be used to populate the info for Batman: Gotham by Gaslight (3rd series) #Bk 1.
  3. I don't have the hardcover, but the indicia for the trade paperback reads Batman: Gotham by Gaslight. The front cover and the spine read the same way as well.
  4. I submitted info for Friend of the Devil: A Reckless Book , Destroy All Monsters: A Reckless Book , and Ghost In You, The: A Reckless Book. I haven't had a chance to make scans. I'm not sure when I will be able to get to those, so if somebody else can get that done easily, they should do so. I thought that I have Follow Me Down: A Reckless Book, but apparently I don't. 😞 So somebody else will need to submit that item in its entirety.
  5. I think that the original titles are all still in my database from when I purchased these ogns as they were not all lumped under one title initially. So it should be easy for me to find these in my database and send them in.
  6. Yes, that would match up with my understanding of the current CB editorial approach and policy.
  7. The Gotham by Gaslight deluxe edition hardcover is listed in the database under the Gotham by Gaslight title. It should probably be moved under its own title because it collects not just Gotham by Gaslight but an additional four issues from three other titles. There is also a trade paperback version that just came out in recent weeks, and that should go under the same title as the deluxe hc.
  8. I noticed this evening that somewhere along the line the Reckless graphic novels by Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips all got grouped under a single title. I can understand the rationale for this, but I wanted to point out that these books are not numbered in the indicia, on either the front or back covers, or on the spine. There isn't necessarily a big problem leaving them all under a single title, but I thought I would mention it in case it doesn't match up with the current ComicBase editorial policy.
  9. Livestream #149 occurred, but it had enough production errors that Pete decided to bin it rather than keep it up on YouTube.
  10. This week's update added the comic title See You in My 19Th Life. Should that actually be listed as See You in My 19th Life ?
  11. That title was deleted in this week's content update as it was replaced by the correctly punctuated Batman/Catwoman: The Gotham War: Scorched Earth.
  12. Also added was the comic title Marvel Beginnings: I Love You 3,000. This title, along with Marvel Beginnings: Spider-Man's Spooky Halloween, are board books. I am having difficulty in locating scans or pictures of the interior, but I am suspicious that neither of these Marvel Beginnings books are actually comics. Can anybody verify whether these belong in the Comics category or should be moved to the Books category?
  13. Those comics fall under the title Mutant Misadventures of Cloak & Dagger. The "Mutant Misadventures" part of the title quietly disappeared around issue 14 or so.
  14. This week's update added the comic title Stuff 0f Nightmares: Slay Ride. Note that the "of" in that title isn't correct, it includes the digit zero rather than the letter "o".
  15. This week's update added Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Present: April O’Neil (Canadian Edition). Should that actually be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Presents: April O’Neil (Canadian Edition) ? (Similarly, should the pre-existing title Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Present: April O’Neil actually be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Presents: April O’Neil ?)
  16. The database lists Marvel's latest event series as Gods. The title is actually G.O.D.S. (note the punctuation and all-caps).
  17. The database lists both Strange Academy: Amazing Spider-Man (which matches the indicia) and Strange Academy: The Amazing Spider-man (which does not match the indicia). The second of these titles should be deleted, of course. The notes for Strange Academy: Moon Knight #1 (and all variants) mentions that the issue contains a digital code for Crypt of Shadows #1. This is not correct. It does contain a digital code for SA:MK #1 (as per Marvel's usual practice) but not for CoS #1. I think that the confusion may have arisen from the fact that the digital code sticker is on the same page as a half-page advertisement for CoS #1.
  18. This week's update added Battlestar Galactica Annual published by Grandreams. The title is listed as a US title. I'm not totally positive but I think that this publisher is based in the UK. Can anybody confirm? Also, this title lists two issues, #1978 and #1981. The #1981 issue cover scan bears the title "Mission Galactica". Can anybody confirm the title of this item as it is listed in the indicia? The comic title Robotics;Notes was also added. The title page on AA is here, but I get an error page when I try to navigate to the title from the AA title search box.
  19. This week's update added the book title The History of Science Fiction and It’s Toy Figurines. Are you sure that there is an apostrophe in the title? I don't see an apostrophe in the cover scan, and "it's" w/ the apostrophe means "it is" and "its" w/out the apostrophe is the possessive form of "it." </grammarnazi> The Marvel Art of Alex Maleev was added as a Comic title. Does this book reprint comic stories, or is it more of an art book? If the latter, then this should be moved to the Book category. The 90s! For Babies!: A Totally Rad Counting Book was also added as a Comic title. Looking at the full set of preview images available on Amazon, this doesn't look like a comic to me and I suggest that it be moved to the Book category.
  20. I think that I’m at least some situations the program update has been necessary for your ComicBase program to know how to handle the weekly content data. I don’t know that has been true all of the time, but it has been the case at least some of the time (obvious examples include new fields or new media categories).
  21. I believe that you are correct. Mycomicshop lists release dates for the first two issues but not the last two, and that is almost always a giveaway that a series was fully solicited but not actually published. There is also a note at comics.org that confirms that this series experienced publication interruptus.
  22. The hits keep on coming: Batman/Catwoman Book #1 (tpb) has been cancelled, apparently no plans to resolicit. (Keep the two hardcover versions in the database, they have already been published.) Batman: Killing Time Book #1 (tpb) has been cancelled, apparently no plans to resolicit. (Keep the hardcover versions in the database, they have already been published.)
  23. This week's content update added the comic title 100% Marvel: Projet Marvels, Le: La Naissance des Super-Héros (Panini). There is also a pre-existing title in the database 100% Marvel: Le Projet Marvels: La Naissance des Super-Héros (Panini). If I understand CB's naming & listing conventions correctly, then I think that the newly added title is the one that needs to go. (If I am wrong and you delete the older title, note that it has an issue listed that is not yet listed with the new title, so that info would need to be ported over.) Also added was the comic title Barkham Asylum. My understanding is that all orders for this were cancelled, I think a resolicit is planned. But until that happens, this should be removed from the database.
  24. Eternal Warrior Classic Omnibus -- which was solicited last year, I think -- has been cancelled by the publisher. I'm not finding it in the database, but if it is in there somewhere then it should be removed.
  25. Nubia & the Amazons Book #1 (tpb) has been cancelled, apparently no plans to resolicit. (Keep the hardcover version in the database, that has already been published.)
