Merged reporting across magazines and comics

I use one of the stock reports to output my want list on a regular basis. I still use the old method of ‘marking’ a book to indicate I want it. Then I build a report of all marked issues that are not in the collection.

with the addition of magazines and moving all my comic related magazines and fanzines over to that Category the report now naturally excludes all my books classified as magazines. 

is there a way to create a consolidated report that includes comics and magazines inline alphabetically?
