The folks a Human Computing changed the way they calculated the price on Low/High cost 'slabbed' books to get them in a more realistic valuation with CB 2025. If you don't have any 'slabbed' comics, the amount may change as various comics have their value adjusted (you can see this with the Top Gainer/Loser report after an update.

As for the 'not recognized' in the update, can you give some examples?

I wish I would’ve done a screen shot when it was upgraded but it was several CGC comics and other. Is there anyway I can go back and get that list without undoing the upgrade? Thanks for your reply by the way

Figured it out. Some of my Windstorm comics read 0 dollars, don’t know why and all my CGC comics lost over 6000 value in this program. That’s a lot of money from last update to this one.

Prior to ComicBase 2025, the program was not handling valuations of slabbed comics very well.  That formula has been updated and has been shown to more accurately match actual realized sale prices for specific slabbed comics as compared to the old formula.  Pete talks about this in a couple of the Livestream videos, but a good one to check out would be this one.

Good video but seems like they are throwing CGC under the bus basically. I understand where he’s coming from and ir will save people a lot of money in the long run if they do not want to grade but who does slab or unslab benefit. I know they will keep adjusting but this app and amount I pay does not benefit me and my CGC collection. Sad to say because I like the software.
