Donald R. Pettry Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 I have an older computer with an older version operating system. Its got VISTA on it. I don't think the latest version of comic base will work on my computer because both the operating system and memory requirements are out of date. If I were to get a laptop computer, do I need to load an older version of comic base on the laptop (I've got some older disk with comic base archive version on them) before I can purchase and download comic base 2020 archive in to it? Also do I need to copy my database into the laptop before I purchase 2020?
Mark J. Castaneda Posted May 26, 2020 Posted May 26, 2020 If you plan to upgrade to ComicBase 2020 then just install that version if you get a new computer. You will also need to copy your old database over to the new computer so you can continue on. Here's an article that can help you with the whole process: https://www.comicbase.com/mycb/Article.aspx?N=2
Donald R. Pettry Posted June 7, 2020 Author Posted June 7, 2020 Thanks for your help. I'll give this a try.
