Josh Herndon Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 I know you folks are on holiday, but wanted to get this out there to look at when you get back. I've gotten used to updated to the latest update as bugs are worked out. Downloaded v20.0.1.2827 today and installed it. The main ComicBase program is working fine but Sidekick seems to have issues. Whenever I try to run any task, it either does not work with no errors (Update database content) or get Unhandled exception errors (every other task). If I hit continue on the error, Sidekick just spins away like it is doing the task, but nothing ever happens. Here is the text from the latest go (This was running an optimize task for example): See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.IO.FileLoadException: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Data.SQLite, Version=1.0.111.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=db937bc2d44ff139' or one of its dependencies. Josh Herndon Posted December 28, 2019 Author Posted December 28, 2019 As a further update, I noticed there was a new version posted today, 2834. Tried it out and still the same errors with Sidekick. Also did a clean install as well just to be safe and same thing.
John Rotoli Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 I'm experiencing the same exact thing... "See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box....etc., etc., etc., .........(deleted for space) When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer rather than be handled by this dialog box." So I cannot back up my database to the cloud and save reports. When I try to save reports to the web from inside the database, I get a message saying that the report has been successfully sent to the server, but there are no reports under my account on the website nor in the mobile app which I use extensively!! Is there any fix for this?
Josh Herndon Posted December 31, 2019 Author Posted December 31, 2019 John, Just noticed that version 20.0.1.2836 is available for download. Just installed it and so far my Sidekick is working again. Hope it works for you as well. Josh
John Rotoli Posted December 31, 2019 Posted December 31, 2019 Thanks Josh! Sidekick is working again! Looks like there’s still a problem with reports though. Have you been able to send reports to the web and view them in the mobile app?
Josh Herndon Posted December 31, 2019 Author Posted December 31, 2019 Yeah, same thing. Reports seem to upload, but nothing on the web or mobile. I'm guessing there may be an issue server side as all my auto-created reports are showing properly. Just custom ones are not.
Mark J. Castaneda Posted January 2, 2020 Posted January 2, 2020 Our report uploader ran into technical difficulties over the Holiday break. It’s been rebooted and now is processing through a large list of reports from our users. We apologize for the inconvenience, it may take several hours for it to catch up and post all those reports.
