Fred Slota Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 I just updated to 20.0.1.3085. When it first loaded, it did some database cleanups I hadn't noticed before. Post update, attempts to do a content update are failing, whether initiated in Sidekick or ComicBase itself. While "Reading comicbook issues", after hitting 50,000, it throws an error stating "Unable to load update: C:\#######\Local]Temp\X202002201602.ccx Index was outside the bounds of the array. (9)"
Mark J. Castaneda Posted February 24, 2020 Posted February 24, 2020 Try going into the File Menu>File Tools>Optimize Database. Afterwards, try to update again. Let us know how you make out.
Fred Slota Posted February 25, 2020 Author Posted February 25, 2020 Optimized. No change. Rebuild Lists. No change. Reboot PC. No change. Next?
Mark J. Castaneda Posted February 25, 2020 Posted February 25, 2020 we noticed you have backup database (dated 2/23/2020) saved to your online account. We'll try to update it and see if we can replicate the trouble. We'll be in touch.
Fred Slota Posted February 28, 2020 Author Posted February 28, 2020 Sidekicked an update today, and it had no problem. Thank you.
Don Perry Posted October 10, 2023 Posted October 10, 2023 I'm have the same error message. I tried optimizing but it didn't work. Any suggestions?
