Brian VanderWaal Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 I tried to load this pic to The Golden Age of Comic Books: 1937-1945, but the software did not create the picture file. Is that because it's a book, instead of a comic book? Anyway, here it is for your use.
Mark J. Castaneda Posted October 2, 2020 Posted October 2, 2020 If you go the Setup Menu>Items Type, switch to the 'Book' category and you can see the full list of abbreviations you need to consider when you name the pic file
Brian VanderWaal Posted October 4, 2020 Author Posted October 4, 2020 I wasn't very clear about what I meant. I attempted to drag and drop the image file, and it would not drop. When I right-clicked to 'Show Picture File' there was not a folder specific to the title. It showed me the various A-Z folders. I was under the (possibly mistaken) impression that when I drag and dropped and image, the software would create the associated picture file folder.
Steven L. Dasinger Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 The behavior of the drag/drop has changed in CB 2020. Instead of dragging to the Cover image area (top left corner), you drag/drop it in the grid area (it does not have to be on the exact Item # line, just anywhere in the grid area. When the new way (to the grid area), it will create the folder (if needed).
Brian VanderWaal Posted October 5, 2020 Author Posted October 5, 2020 Yep, that's where I was attempting to drag it to. I haven't had the problem recur with other titles, so perhaps it was a system burp.
Mark J. Castaneda Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 What item type did you set the listing to? I wonder if you named the jpeg with the correct image type abbreviation. Feel free to include screenshots so we have better idea how things are setup on your end.
