Joel Ekis Posted March 12, 2021 Posted March 12, 2021 There is something wrong with the pricing of this issue. Tick #1 You can buy a CGC 9.4 for $250 on eBay right now. Atomic Avenue lists it as $1,775 for a raw NM. It's been going up steadily in the weekly updates and I cannot see any reason for it to be this high. Can you check this one?
Mark J. Castaneda Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 We'll look into it. Feel free in the future to use the 'Request Price Check' option under the software's internet menu for listings you run into that seem off in value.
Joel Ekis Posted July 8, 2021 Author Posted July 8, 2021 You looked into this issue in March and corrected it. It has gone up every week since and is back to a unrealistic price again. Are there any sales related to this issue? Or is it just someone listing it in AA and letting the price automatically adjust every week that is driving it up?
Mark J. Castaneda Posted July 9, 2021 Posted July 9, 2021 there are sellers on AA current selling it a high value

Edward G. Guetzow Posted July 10, 2021 Posted July 10, 2021 And values should be based only on what has actually sold and NOT on what someone is wishing for it to sell.

That is exactly what is broken with the CB algorithm. If there are no sales, then any listing price increase driven solely by automatic listing price increases should be IGNORED. It's not real.
