Andrew Szumilo
When trying to download the latest update, I get an error that "database disk image is malformed". I have tried several times to update, but, I get the error at the same point each time on Fantastic Comics (Fox)
Mark J. Castaneda
Your database may be damaged. See if you have recently dated database backup file you can load into the software. By default, backups are stored in Documents/Human Computing/ComicBase Databases folder
Andrew Szumilo
Still having this issue. Tried using backups, but, same error. Exported info to a text file, used both comma and tab separated. Created a new database and tried importing the text file. Nothing imports. I get errors when trying to use the coma separated option. Says cannot parse line (happens on many lines). There has got to be a way to rebuild the database. Upgraded to version 23.2.32.2815. Still no luck.

Use the TAB delimited option instead of comma delimited. I also have issues with the Comma but the TAB delimited always works (for me).
Steven L. Dasinger
You can also try to press and hold the CTRL key when starting CB. This will ask if you want to 'Recreate the database indexes?'. Click yes. This may (or may not) clean up the problem.
Andrew Szumilo
I have tried the ctrl key when starting up. Nothing seems to work to fix it.
Mark J. Castaneda
Your database may be corrupt. If you have an export file with all your data, email it to our support team (support@comicbase.com) and they can try to plug it into a fresh database file.
