  1. Is the Cover of 1/G the one you have? https://atomicavenue.com/atomic/item/712951/1/Justice-League-3rd-Series-1G It is hard to see in the linked cover with the watermark, but the one in my db does have Convention Exclusive in the bottom left corner.
  2. I would contact support, as there must be some problem either in the program our the account,
  3. When you do an Update, there is check box at the bottom to Exclude Mature Titles from the database. Check this and run the Update and all the Mature titles will be removed. If you have already run an update, you can 'force' it process again by pressing and holding the SHIFT key while selecting Internet->Check for Updates. This should affect all types (Books, Comic Books and Magazines).
  4. Yeah, I thought there was something missing from your original response. When you select a report, there is a 'Save to Web...' button in my Archive Edition. I don't know if Express has this available (I seem to recall Pete saying in the Livestream that Pro/Archive is needed to potentially get all the badges).

  6. I would assume, creating a report, then saving it to the web site.
  7. You manage inventory by the Qty in Stock column. If it is set to 0 you have NO stock for that issue. If it is set to 1 or more, you have 1 or more of that issue in stock. If you have thousands of comics and you have let the database get out of sync with what you actually have, there is not quick and easy way to reconcile them. You will need to inventory your collection and compare it with what you have in CB. There are ways to do this (Find all issues qty Qty >= 1, Export Issues you own (to work with a file or spreadsheet), Generate a report of issues owned) but no matter what you will need to correct the contents in CB. NOTE: If you Export the information and get that file corrected, you can Import the information into a new (empty of owned items) database. (but I think you need at least the Pro edition to do both Export and Import).
  8. In the ComicBase Livestream #51 starting at the 34:43 point, Pete lists the various badges. They are: 1) Back Back - Upgrade from an older version 2) Hot Off the Presses - Enter a new comic book for the first time 3) Current Events - Downloaded an update 4) Going Mobile - Save a Report to the Web 5) Open for Business - Post Comics for sale 6) We're in the Money - Make a sale 7) The Inspector - Use the Grading Wizard 8) Short Box - 125 issues 9) Long Box - 200 issues 10) Enough to have a problem - 500 issues 11) New Millennium - 1,000 issues 12) Serious - 5,000 issues 13) Fan Boy - 10,000 issues 14) Archivist - 50,000 issues 15) Calling Dr. Jones - Submit new Title 16) Shows Initiative - Submit a correction 17) Contributor - 100 submission points 18) Four Color Scholar - 200 submission points 19) Commander Shepard Award - 100,000 submission points 20) Social - Currently not used 21) Going... Going... - Submitting collection to Heritage Auction 22) Making the Charts - Make the Leader Board (submission points). Top 200. 23) The Few, the Proud - Make the Top 10 on the Leader Board.
  9. Yeah, I just tested and it apparently does not update the Date Modified. I will ask and see if it can be added as a feature in the next version. Also, just changing a value in the grid doesn't update the Date Modified. If you actual edit the row (double click and open edit window), it does update the Date Modified. By the way, I just found out the Date Modified is a timestamp. To get it to work correctly, the Date function is needed like this: Date(I.[DateModified]) = '2022-04-17' (Not that it helps with your current problem but just to get correct information out there.)
  10. Hmm... So Add by Barcode doesn't seem to update the Date Modified? I would think it should.
  11. If it helps, depending on how much other things you changed today, an Advanced Find of : I.[DateModified] >= '2022-04-17' Should find any items that were changed (or modified) on that date.
  12. I can't find either #7 or #8 at GCD, MyComicShop or Mile HIgh Comics.

  14. You are missing my point. All the things you mention apply to the comic whether it is slabbed or not. I agree that they all affect the pricing of a comic. However, the act of slabbing doesn't multiply all of those items. There is not a premium for slabbing and being signed and 1st appearance. There is just a premium for being slabbed. The main problem that Pete is trying to address is that a flat rate percentage when applied to any CGC (or any graded comic) doesn't give a realistic example of the pricing with vast differences in pricing. Currently CB has a CGC 9.8 at 1200% of NM. Take a comic as graded by CGC at 9.8 Take the same comic out of the casing. Example 1: Low priced comic If the un-slabbed comic sold for $100.00, the slabbed version would have a value of $1,200.00. Example 2: High priced comic If the un-slabbed comic sold for $1,000,000.00, the slabbed version would have a value of $12,000,000.00. For example 1, the $1,200.00 may or may not be accurate but it is probably near correct (plus or minus a few hundred). For example 2, the $12,000,000.00 is no where close to being an accurate representation of the price (plus or minus several hundred thousand dollars). That is the problem being addressed. One way I can thing of is to have different percentage of NM for various pricing ranges. For example (just making up numbers and is not meant to represent actual values): Between $1.00 and $999.00 have percentage of 1200% Between $1,000.00 and $4,999.00 have have percentage of 1200% Between $5,000.00 and $9,999.00 have have percentage of 1000% Between $10,000.00 and $49,999.00 have have percentage of 750% Between $50,000.00 and $99,999.99 have have percentage of 500% Between $100,000.00 and $499,999.00 have have percentage of 250% Between $500,000.00 and $999,999.00 have have percentage of 175% Between $1,000,000.00 and $1,999,999.00 have have percentage of 150% Over $2,000,000.00 have $125% Again, these are just 'random' numbers and are just meant to show the general idea. They are not meant to be exact numbers. Using these numbers Example 2, at $1,000,000.00, when slabbed, would have a value of $1,500,000.00. Still significant but not outlandish. (And I will state this one more time. Any feature that would affect the price, would apply to the un-slabbed comic. They are important and affect the price. However, once that un-slabbed price is determined, the act of slabbing does add extra premium value beyond the act of slabbing.)
  15. Actually the problem can be described in a simpler matter. All of the points about key and/or signed issues is immaterial. The question is what percentage increase in value should apply just for having a comic slabbed. Note: I am not saying key/signed is not important overall, but that is already accounted for. i.e. the non-slabbed 1st appearance or a important character is already going to be priced higher then later appearances. Slabbing is not going to increase the value because of that 1st appearance any more than it already is. If you have issue #1 first appearance priced at $100.00 issue #2 priced at $50.00, the increase in value is already there. If both issues are slabbed and get a premium applied of 110%, they would be would be $110.00 and $55.00, respectively. There would NOT be 110% premium for being slabbed plus a premium for being 1st appearance. The main problem as I understood it is high value books. If Action Comics #1 sold for $1,000,000.00, being slabbed should not blow up the premium to 2 or 3 million dollars. So at lower prices, the plus/minus range for the percentage increase isn't all that great. Using the same percentage on higher priced items creates a very large plus/minus range (almost to the point of being useless).
  16. I agree with Brian about the ultra-wide monitor. Unfortunately, the one suggested isn't true 4k. It only has a resolution of 3840 x 1600. For 4k it height needs to be 2160 (no 1600). There are 4k ultra-wide monitors at 2160 but not as many. They can be on the expensive side. LG makes one (flat or curved). I think Samsung has one, also. The important item is the resolution height if you want 4k.

  18. And we can't forget 'The one ring to rule them all' (Lord of the Rings, if this in in the scope of what you are looking for).
  19. This site has 27 different ring bearers. https://comiclists.wordpress.com/tag/magic-ring/
  20. Detective Comics #241 "The Rainbow Batman" Batman wore 6 different colored (red, blue, yellow, orange, green, white ) and one rainbow colored bat suit. Is this the type of thing you are looking for? Or does it have to be different people/objects?
  21. Not sure if you are just looking for reference to rings in stories or actual physical objects. Around the time DC came up with the various Lantern colors besides green (black, white, red, yellow, etc), a set of these rings was produced.
  22. I would contact support about this item. It has been reported a few times (that I know of) but I am not sure of any specific fix. You can try typing I.ItemDescription in the Where box to get it to return results until you can get a fix. PS Way back when 2022 first came out, I had to create a new database then export/import my data into it to get Item Description in the list. Hopefully there is a better solution. PPS In the mean time, maybe an Uninstall (of both CB and CB Resources) / Re-Install could help.
  23. Unfortunately, the Export window only allows filtering by checking the 'Export only items in stock' box. So either you do ever issues in CB on just the issues you own. There is no other option (i.e. marked) to key on. PS, I guess you can use a custom fields as part of the export and use that to facilitate finding just those rows in the text file (or in a spreadsheet). PPS I just thought of sort of an alternate method. Once you do the Find, you can highlight cells in the grid and use CTRL+C to copy the data then paste it to a file.
  24. There is no direct way to export only part of the database (or at least a part of the items with Quantity in Stock >= 1). I can think of a way to do this but it takes a little work. Whether this technique is more or less work than editing a text file is for you to decide. 1) make a copy of the database. 2) open the database copy. NOTE: Verify that you are working with a Copy of your database and not the real database (the name will be in the title bar of the CB window). 3) mass change Qty in Stock to 0 4) Run Find to display the items you want to export. 5) Select all rows (CTRL+A is one way to do this). 6) Right-click and from the pop-up menu select Quick Change. 7) Set Qty in Stock to 1. At this point you can use Export with 'Export only items in stock' checked and just get the items you just updated. Once done, you can delete the database copy and go back to using the actual database.
