Timothy S. Kilbreath Posted October 29, 2022 Posted October 29, 2022 The last few times that I have updated my database with Sidekick, the "Update database content" section on the main Sidekick screen doesn't update to the current update date. I have downloaded and updated the program for the last few updates to version 23.0.0.1974 and this error hasn't been fixed. Just wanted to let someone know. The most recent time I have updated with Sidekick was just now, 10/29/22 at 5:50 pm. Tim
Mark J. Castaneda Posted October 31, 2022 Posted October 31, 2022 When our next content update comes out this week (likely Wednesday evening); let us know if the proper date and time is displayed when you update with Sidekick.
Timothy S. Kilbreath Posted November 3, 2022 Author Posted November 3, 2022 Mark, yes, the latest content update shows the proper date and time. Thanks!
Randall J. Paske Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 Meanwhile, I updated last night (November 2) via Sidekick, and now both Sidekick and ComicBase (in the Collection Statistics window) show my last update as October 27. I do have an update log from November 2, though. I've never seen this problem before, or at least never noticed it.

Randall J. Paske Posted November 3, 2022 Posted November 3, 2022 OK, today I downloaded and installed the current build, just to be sure I was on the right one. Then I did a content update via Sidekick. Both Sidekick and ComicBase (in the Collection Statistics window) still show my last update as October 27. ComicBase also indicates that new content is available, even though I just did a content update. Would this have anything to do with the renewal nag box that has started popping up? I'll be renewing later on, so I keep declining. They are probably unrelated, but it seems like this started when that started.
Mark J. Castaneda Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 the renewal box shouldn't play into the problem. Odd, CB is notifying you there's a new content update unless it truly didn't process 100% through Sidekick. Consider going into the File Menu>File Tools>Rebuild Lists (the first 3 options); then try to update afterwards; see if that helps.
Randall J. Paske Posted November 4, 2022 Posted November 4, 2022 I ran Rebuild Lists and did another content update. Unfortunately, both ComicBase and Sidekick still say that my last update was October 27. But I'm getting new log files each time.
Mark J. Castaneda Posted November 7, 2022 Posted November 7, 2022 Notified the programming team, our next build should address this problem.
