80's Newspaper on Comicbook News

Hi,

I been banging my head against the wall trying to remember a newspaper I received in the 1980's through the mail.  It would have all the comic book news & articles that we can get today through websites.  The publication was somewhat similar to the current "Comic Shop News" flyers, but much thicker and looks like an actual newspaper.

My first thought was that it may be "Comic Shop News" (CSN) since it looked different in the earlier days, but CSN started in 1987.  My most vivid memory of the newspaper was the announcement regarding New Teen Titans with Robin becoming Nightwing.  That comic, New Teen Titans #39, was released in February 1984.

Any help is much appreciated.  Thanks!

My guess would be The Buyer's Guide for Comic Fandom (https://atomicavenue.com/atomic/series/372/2/Buyerrsquos-Guide-for-Comic-Fandom-The) or Comics Buyer's Guide (https://atomicavenue.com/atomic/series/47/2/Comics-Buyerrsquos-Guide) when itr changed its name.

I concur with Steven's assessment.  I had a subscription to the old CBG, too.  That weekly newspaper was always a high point of the week.

Yes!  That is it.  Thank you!.  As with many things, I wish I would have saved some of those guides.

Now, if you can help me find this 60's-70's cartoon Psychology college book...I'm kidding. I'll find that on my own.
