  1. Today
  2. Thanks! When I tried a Google search and then looked at online retailers and eBay, I didn't see any clues. I'll try to bookmark the site you mentioned.
  3. I preordered it via DCBS so I was going off of the DC Connect description when it was solicited 4 (?) months ago.
  4. Thank you for the update. Appreciate it.
  5. Comics.org suggests that this is normal for the print run: "Cardstock variant cover over base issue cover."
  6. Maybe the source you bought the issue from may have some information for the double-cover.
  7. Apologizes for the inconvenience, looks like our web team is performing server maintenance which is causing the problem. Hoping all will be good by end of business day.
  8. to confirm, the proper title name according to the indicia is Kor-Drath: The Reckoning or just Kor-Drath ?
  9. I'd do some searching on Google or eBay to confirm there are more double-cover editions of this issue. Could be intentional or an error run of the issue.
  10. Workaround solution... -With ComicBase closed, create a new sub-folder on your Local C Drive (ex: My ComicBase Databases) -move your working database to this folder. -once moved, simply double-click on your database itself from its new folder location and it'll load into ComicBase. -immediately quit out of the software. The next time you start up the software from the ComicBase desktop icon, it'll load the database from its new folder location.

  12. Hello, I have uninstalled OneDrive, after disabling it to no avail as it continued to sync (steal) my information I still get the message that OneDrive is involved in the CB. It simply will not load the pictures. I open CB off the usb drive I took from my previous computer, and when I get to the folder it is empty? I can see the files when opened via the File Explorer. Any advice would be appreciated, Win 11 Pro OS. Heck I factory reset the lap top thinking that would help. Started fresh with uninstalling OneDrive. Still was unable to get past the "install cover images"
  13. I think DC may be starting to do that as a matter of course. I've seen it with other titles. But I haven't seen any official word.
  14. I noticed my copy of this variant is a "double cover": the Cardstock variant by Steve Epting is stapled over the regular Cover A by Gavin Guidry and Jordie Bellaire. Can anyone confirm if this is normal for the print run or if it's unique? If it's unique, any suggestions on how I should enter it? Thanks!
  15. Kor-Drath: The Reckoning is the first issue of the Kor-Drath series by Andy Smith. All the issues of Kor-Drath: The Reckoning need to be moved to The title Kor-Drath I'm submitting the Kor-Drath Title and all issues again. Also, Kor-Drath is being crowdfunded on Indiegogo
  16. Last week
  17. Just an FYI- This is happening to me again. Reports not going to the Web. Started yesterday 5-9-24.
  18. also, if you have any protection software (ex: Avast, AVG, Norton, MacAfee, etc.) installed, it may be interfering. Consider turn it off temporarily (10 min) and retry CB installation.
  19. Thanks -- I'm about to go out of town for a week but will consult with Pete when I get back.
  20. May be best to give our lead programmer Pete a call, looks like you got something deeper going on with your computer preventing installation. 408-266-6883 ext 403
  21. Thank you! I will try the data base on to a USB drive first and go from there. So the database that is backed up in my ComicBase.com will not transfer to a new install on a new computer? It would be wise to external drive save my C Drive more often then the every six month backup I do. As I am inputting (at times weekly) a couple times a month. I am one of the "I have a problem collection" Thanks again! I will be in touch if I run into an obstacle I can't figure out.

  23. Since you have a new laptop, I am assuming you have an old computer (desk or laptop). Is your database on the old computer? Installing CB on a new computer won't automatically copy your database to the new computer. By default, your database is on your C Drive in \Users\<loginid>\Documents\Human Computing\ComicBase Databases. If you can network the two computers together, you can transfer the database from the old computer to the new computer. or If you have a large enough USB drive, you can copy to it from your old computer then use it to copy it to your new computer. or It is possible to have your database and a NAS device. If you have that you need to point CB to that location.
  24. I am unable to get the new install on a new laptop to find or load my database. I had to uninstall OneDrive (which I hate anyway) because it was, well I don't know unpacking it to its government sharing program? Sorry off topic. Said something about bandwidth and and loading onto onedrive. I uninstall ComicBase and removed onedrive then reinstalled ComicBase, still can't get my database onto the new laptop install.
  25. I uninstalled all instances of the ComicBase program on my PC, deleted the earlier installer, downloaded a new copy of the installer, ran it, and got the same error message: Source file not found: C:\Users\Alan Stewart\AppData\Roaming\Human Computing\ComicBase 2024 Professional Edition 24.1.0.1212\install\ComicBase 2024 Professional Edition Setup1.cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it. I don't appear to have a ComicBase 2024 Professional Edition 24.1.0.1212 folder on my PC.
  26. Since I am not sure exactly what you have done, try this: Go to Windows Settings, Apps, Installed Apps Uninstall any/all Comicbase apps. (there should only be two: the Edition you have and the Resources install). Go to Users\<logon-id>\AppData\Roaming\Human Computing\ComicBase 2024 Professional Edition 24.1.0.1212 folder Then either install your 2024 downloaded installer or download it from the Comicbase site in your My Account->Registrations page. Hopefully this will work. If not you may need to call support.
  27. Mark, that might have worked while I still had a working copy of 2024 Pro. But, as I said in the OG post, I deleted the version I'd originally installed, and now it won't let me reinstall. When I try to do so, the Installer runs and then ends by giving me the error message I shared. The only working version of CB I can currently run is 2022, and it won't let me change the registration number using the procedure you outlined. So, still no go.
  28. Install CB2024 Professional then launch it. Go the Help Menu>About ComicBase - click the Edit Registration button and enter in the other serial number ending in 80065 you got registered. The next time you start up the software should recognize the proper expiration date.
