Andrew d’Entremont Posted June 21, 2024 Posted June 21, 2024 Sorry to create two threads within minutes of each other, but I've never seen this error before. I just added "Scout Handbook" to my database and printed of an ID label for it. When I scan the newly created ID label with my barcode scanner I get the following error. If it helps, this book is filed under the Magazine section. I am running 2024 4K Archive Edition, v24.1.0.1213 under Windows 11.
Mark J. Castaneda Posted June 24, 2024 Posted June 24, 2024 Have you tried more than once to see if the problem is 100% reproducible (or relatively very reproducible)? Can you get it to happen with another Magazine item OR other media type? Can you screenshot your ID label so we have an idea how it looks?
Andrew d’Entremont Posted June 24, 2024 Author Posted June 24, 2024 It happens every time I scan this book. I just tried Who's Who Update '88 #3 and #4 and I get the same error. I can try a few others if you like. Let me know.
Mark J. Castaneda Posted June 25, 2024 Posted June 25, 2024 You're using the latest build for CB2024? These labels you're scanning are from the database they were created from? Do Comic Book labels give you the same problem? What printer are you using (Make and Model)?
Andrew d’Entremont Posted June 25, 2024 Author Posted June 25, 2024 Yes, I am running the latest build: 2024 4K Archive Edition, v24.1.0.1213 Yes, these are labels created from the same database, and it only seems to be items under the Magazine category. I can scan comic book labels just fine. I am using a Dymo LabelWriter 320.
Peter R. Bickford Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Please guide build 24.1.0.1229 (just posted) a shot and let me know if it resolves this for you.
