  1. If its not too many titles, i'd just visit each title with the unknown publisher and update the publisher info
  2. Quit ComicBase, if you currently have it open. Uninstall your ComicBase 2021 Edition from your Windows Start Menu (Settings>App list) Temporarily turn off any security/anti-virus software that might interfere with the installation of system files. THIS IS IMPORTANT (and usually the cause of the trouble in the first place). Download and install this Crystal Reports service pack zip file from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/664lc3oo6iwhqit/CR13SP29Redist32_0-10010309.ZIP?dl=1 Inside the Zip File will be the CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_29.msi file; copy/extract out this file to your desktop. Double-click on the CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_29.msi file to install it which will fix the Crystal Reports component problem. Lastly, reinstall ComicBase 2021.
  3. -Hopefully as you were scanning via the iPhone that you didn't have any entries that didn't transmit properly; i can only think of having a weak signal on your phone being a possible problem as to why some items you scanned didn't show up when you tried to sync later in the main software. -I'm curious to the VB error you got and what particular action caused it. Are you able to replicate it and take a screenshot of the error? -for the entries that got tripled up, did you scan them in 3 times in mobile app?
  4. I've always just taken just the basic storyline data mainly because it helps cut down the clutter and makes searching within that field more accurate. so instead of this in the storyline field: #61, 2/1981: Conan: The Wizard Fiend of Zingara!, i'd just go with The Wizard Fiend of Zingara! Pete will have better answer for you on this one. Bring it up in the next Livestream, it's a good question to ask.
  5. a good suggestion for the future; i'll mention it to our programming team.
  6. thanks for the info. I'll let the programming team know about.
  7. We don't have those mentioned items in our master database nor do they exist on Atomic Ave (which draws from ComicBase). They may be unique to your database. Feel free to zero out any quantities you have then delete the listing(s) if you wish to remove them from your db.
  8. your monitor display resolution may need to be adjusted so you see the options that appear to be chopped off on the right of that window.
  9. yes. we always post a notice for any upcoming livestream on www.comicbase.com if you ever wonder. if you haven't already, subscribe to our YouTube channel and click on the notification bell for upcoming livestreams: https://www.youtube.com/c/ComicBaseTV/
  10. thanks for the info guys. we'll have our editorial team look into this one and adjust for the next content update.
  11. found YouTube reviews showing off some of these books and they look to be comic strip focused...looks like they should go into 'comics' We'll be shifting any titles in 'books' over to 'comics' with the upcoming content update. If you notice any title we might have missed drop a message on this thread and we'll adjust.
  12. If you ever notice things not updating, try this: -make sure you download the latest versions of CB2021 AND ComicBase Mobile App -In the software, go the File Menu>Collection Statistics - this does a backend check to the mobile app that should refresh your stats and award any badges earned for the account you're logged in with in the software. If none of those help, email us at support@comicbase.com and we'll look further into it for you if needed.
  13. thanks for the heads up, we'll have our editorial team will look into fixing them. IDW is notorious for wrong street dates; kinda surprised Marvel has so many off the list you cited. *If you ever feel compelled, you can make the date change in your database then send us the change through the 'Send New or Corrected Data' option under the software's internet menu - our editorial team will review and make the change in our master database.
  14. uninstall your CB2021 edition AND the CB2021 resource file from your App list Next, refer to this article on what to do next:
  15. you need to fully highlight the issues so any greyed out options become select-able.
  16. download the latest CB2021 program installer (v21.0.2.1875): https://www.comicbase.com/mycb/Registrations.aspx restart your computer after installation then retry.
  17. if the majority of the contents are comic strips then they should stay in 'Comics' Unfortunately we don't have in-house copies to confirm; anyone own some to confirm the contents? We can then officially move them to the proper media category afterwards.
  18. yes. Be sure to send in submissions for them so we can officially add it to the Master Database. Thanks.
  19. you're basing your info of the comic's interior indicia (fine credits) page?
  20. anyone have a copy to verify the date stated inside?
  21. there are sellers on AA current selling it a high value
  22. The sketch cover is part of the ComicBase Resources install file (different from the program install file). You would need to fully uninstall both your current ComicBase 2021 Edition and ComicBase Resource listings in your App List then download/install the latest CB2021 program installer (which will get the correct splash graphic installed).
