  3. the asterisk in that title is an editorial decision We crossed referenced against amazon and it looks like that Tolkien book is described as a Graphic Novel. If someone owns it to verify the contents that would be helpful to know if we indexed it in the proper media category.
  4. Chasing down the Signed Edition cover scan on the internet seems to have stumped our Editorial team for now. Not sure we believe the solicitation cover which was the other cover is the legit.

  6. I don't think the cover we have currently is correct since it was used for solicitation ordering. The cover you got is probably the correct cover for HC

  9. In the case of this creator, the name is listed so many ways it gets confusing. We've decided to list her as Lesley “Leirix” Li
  10. -If message occurs in the main software, that's by design every time you start up the software or do anything relating to updating your database. It'll go away if you renew your subscription -If the message pops up through Sidekick, go into its settings, go the Schedule tab and set all the options to 'Never'
  11. Spoke with our programming team; after some digging through the full manual, that DX (Mark1) doesn't look to support the Codabar code that you need in order to read those print out label barcodes unlike later models we carry 😞
  12. Odd, not sure what the trouble would be in your case (not getting reports of the same problem for any other user lately). I'd try this... -Go into your Windows settings and uninstall ALL listings of ComicBase from your App list. If you got older versions still installed, uninstall them too. -download/install the latest version of the CB2023 Program Installer from your online account here: https://www.comicbase.com/mycb//Registrations.aspx -restart your computer afterwards and see how the software performs If the problem still occurs, give our tech support team a call. They can setup a remote help session if needed to get you going properly.
  13. try updating your password here: https://www.comicbase.com/mycb/ChangePassword.aspx password tips: -at least 6 characters in length -include at least 1 number, 1 capped letter, & 1 special character Afterwards, update your login credentials in the software (internet menu>login information).
  14. I should have asked earlier... you got the most up-to-date build for the CB2023 software? If not, download/install the revised CB2023 program installer from your online account here: https://www.comicbase.com/mycb/Registrations.aspx create a fresh label afterwards and see if it will scan. Hopefully that works for you. If not, contact our support team directly at support@comicbase.com. Take a photo of the model scanner so they have any idea which one you got so they can help you further.
  15. In the case of a 4th edition 1st printing for MMW The Amazing Spider-man; we're thinking go with the next available letter variant - so 1/B. Naturally, use the notes field to mention its a 4th edition, 1st print. Download the line, if a 2nd print comes out for the 4th edition then we could set that as #1/B-2.
  16. Wonder if the scanner is the problem... Are you able to launch a basic Word or Text document, grab a few comics and test scan multiple times? The goal is to test whether the scanner is picking up all digits every time you scan. If its inconsistent then the scanner could be on its last legs and needs to be replaced.
  17. you might want to find the code to reset the scanner entirely then re-setup with the codes we provided. *The Technical User Manuals we have on our website may have the 'Codabar' code you need to program in.
  18. at the moment, the labels are a fixed format depending on your label type/brand. Can you sketch your idea out so the programming team can picture what you got in mind?
  19. if you still have the original manual it came with, see if there's a 'CODABAR' code you can program in.

  22. Diamond provided us the wrong title name. It was corrected with yesterday's content update.
  23. If you're expired, it will pop-up every time you start up; its a 'As-Designed' prompt like many other subscription based software programs.
