Fred Slota Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 Side project of mine... Looking to crowdsource additional references to iconic sigil-type rings, comic books or pop culture. Emotional Spectrum Flash Legion Flight Ring The Phantom
Steven L. Dasinger Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 Not sure if you are just looking for reference to rings in stories or actual physical objects. Around the time DC came up with the various Lantern colors besides green (black, white, red, yellow, etc), a set of these rings was produced.
Fred Slota Posted April 6, 2022 Author Posted April 6, 2022 Not looking for physical rings... Looking for other examples in the literature. BTW, not only did they make those rings, but shortly after they made both a Flash and Legion Ring. I have them all.
Randall J. Paske Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 There was a terrible cartoon version of the Thing where his alter ego was a teenage Benjy Grimm with magic rings who said "Thing ring, do your thing" to access his powers.
Fred Slota Posted April 6, 2022 Author Posted April 6, 2022 And there was a genie cartoon with kids with a pair of rings that fit half-to-half, I think? Ooooh, Underdog! Forgot about him.
Steven L. Dasinger Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 This site has 27 different ring bearers. https://comiclists.wordpress.com/tag/magic-ring/
Steven L. Dasinger Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 And we can't forget 'The one ring to rule them all' (Lord of the Rings, if this in in the scope of what you are looking for).
Fred Slota Posted April 6, 2022 Author Posted April 6, 2022 Looking for sigil/signet type rings, with an image or design on the face. Than you.

Ooooh, Underdog! Forgot about him. @Fred Slota, the genie cartoon was Shazzan, with Kaboobie the flying camel!
