Trent Wolodko Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 After a failed swing at a cheaper version of ComicBase a few months ago, I decided to try again as I really need a collection app that can find fair market value for these books. This time, I'm trying the archive version so I've got the covers as that was a major hangup with the cheaper version. I'm already stuck with a major hurdle. I've got multiple copies of the same issue, different grades, some raw, some graded. I can adjust the qty of any single issue I might have easily enough, but how exactly am I supposed to track the value of multiple copies of a single issue across different grades? Also, where's CBCS when choosing grade, why were they not included?
Steven L. Dasinger Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 To track multiple copies, just duplicate an issue. Select the issue, then use menu item Edit->Duplicate (or right-click and select Duplicate from the pop-up menu. Make any changes (or none) and save and you will have two Issues with the same Item #. Repeat for as many duplicates as you need.
Brian J. Stewart Posted December 8, 2019 Posted December 8, 2019 yep. duplicate the issue and track the grading and cost independently. My Green Lantern collection is riff with multiple, as I upgraded my silver age collection over the years. dupe it, and all is simple after that.
Margaret Walsh Posted March 2, 2021 Posted March 2, 2021 So I tried my hand at the "duplicate" feature and now for the original and the new entry, a MJ Variant, the font is greyed out in the grid display. When I select the row, I can see the info because the font turns white. I've attached a photo of part of the row.
