  1. Try this... fully exit out of Sidekick. Hold Down the Ctrl Key on your keyboard then start up the main software - you should go through a reindex process. If you're able to get through that, try to exit and see if that error pops up. If the still problem occurs, please reach out to our Support Team at support@comcibase.com
  2. make sure the main software isn't open if your trying to use Sidekick actions or errors can occur.
  3. interesting idea, will mention to the programming team. any covers you find that we might have missed censoring please let us know
  4. Suggest not going with 'Items to Show: owned items'; especially when it comes to entering books you don't own (yet).
  5. Wondering if the contents with both are collecting the exact same stories. I'm gonna guess 'No' unless you can shed some light on them. May be best to spin the later listing into its own title.
  6. try picking a different Find drop down option like 'Publisher' then go back and reselect 'Series Name or Barcode' - this can wake up the search definer if its not working right.
  7. upgrading to CB2023 is just a program update. the weekly content updates are a different thing entirely. That's done through the internet menu>check for updates. *if you need to redownload the latest content update, go into the software's internet menu, click AND hold down the 'shift' key on your keyboard then select the 'check for updates' option; you will be prompted to re-download the latest content update. *a good issue to check if you're updated with the latest content update is The Amazing Spider-Man (6th Series) #14 - that issues was recently added
  8. yes...the new CB2023 release created a backlog. We're hoping to catch up for this week's content update.
  9. use the 'Printings' drop down option in the issue details window; suggest setting it to '2' (2nd printing)
  10. Hey Joe, get in touch with our support team at support@comicbase.com. Please send the serial number that's saved into the software (don't post it here) so we can verify its a valid number. To check in the software for this info, go the Help Menu>About ComicBase.
  11. You can force a redownload of the latest content update by going into the software's internet menu, click AND hold down the 'shift' key on your keyboard then select the 'check for updates' option; you will be prompted to re-download the latest content update.
  12. feel free to contact our support team directly at support@comicbase.com OR 408-266-6883
  13. If the same stuff is updating every time, it may not actual be initially completing the update process. Get in contact with our support team directly at support@comicbase.com OR 408-266-6883.
  14. Its possible the database file is corrupt. Do you have a recently dated backup you can try to load in and update? By default, backups are stored in Documents/Human Computing/ComicBase Databases folder You can also try going into the File Menu>File Tools and running the optimize database option AND/Or Rebuild Lists option (Series info, List of owned series, and Item info options).
  15. Apple i think has this kinda of tech. We'll suggest it to the programming team.
  16. Please resend the corrections for this. I'll notify the Editorial team to keep an eye out for them and let you know if there are any issues with it.
  17. try a computer restart make sure the main CB software is not open when you try to interact with Sidekick. Try to get into Sidekick settings with a right-click with your mouse. Review your database list under the General Tab; if the file path for your main DB is no longer valid that could be the reason for your trouble, Use the plus and minus buttons to adjust the list to the proper file path. If that doesn't help, reach out to our support team (support@comicbase.com OR 408-266-6883)
  18. not sure of the time table but it will be revisited after the new version launches
