Try going to the Temp file (the file path in the second attachment) and delete the files (you don't need to delete the folders). (I would close CB and SideKick). The try the download again. This worked when I had the same problem

I can't do anything about the actual problem but you mentioned that you didn't have a backup showing what you previously had. If you have the disk space, in Preferences, you can check the box by 'Automatically backup database when you close the program' and set number of backups to 100. This way you will have a backup every time you use CB (up to 100 times). NOTE: With this set up, if you ever DON'T want to take a backup, just press and hold the SHIFT key when you exit CB and it will bypass making a backup. Since you seem to have eliminated Updates, the next culprits I would think of would be Rebuild List (and maybe Optimize Database) as they are actions that can change things.

Let's start with V22.0.0.1557. When enough changes (or some other milestone) happens, HC will increment the 3rd number by 1 (but the 4th number doesn't get reset to 0 (this is the build number). It goes... From: V22.0.0.1557 To : V22.0.1.1560 (just using the build number for an example) The significance of the 1 (the 3rd position) is that it is an official build. Looking at the CB website, in the ComicBase Info box (see attached), it lists both the Official version (currently V22.0.1) and the Interim Build (currently V22.09.1.1613). Also, in CB, in Preferences, if you do NOT have the 'Check for Interim Updates' checked, you will only be notified about an available update when the 3rd number changes (the official Build). If you DO have the' Check for Interim Updates' checked, you will be notified about an available update when the 4th number changes (build number).

One thing you can do with a questionable picture is to see what is on Atomic Avenue. I just checked and AA has the Black Panther Agents of Wakanda (preliminary artwork) cover. It will need to be deleted from the Master database by HC.

The most current version of CB is V22.0.1. The most current interim build of CB is V22.0.1.1613. If you are on V22.0.0.1557, you are not on the most current version.

Yes. With CB closed, you can use File Explore to rename any CB database or backup file to any name you like (just leave the extension the same). Since CB will try to open the last database that was in use, you should double click on the newly renamed database to get CB to open it directly. PS you can also copy a backup file to another location and rename it so you have the original backup, if you need it.

'Add Remove Programs' refers to Windows Apps. You can get to it by: 1) Click Windows Start button (normally located at bottom left on the task bar). Select Settings, then click on Apps. or 2) in the search box located on the Windows Task bar (if you have it displayed) type 'Add or Remove Programs. NOTE: Make sure CB is not running. Once you are displaying the Apps and Features window, Uninstall any (32-bit) SAP Crystal Reports* program (there may only be one). Uninstall ComicBase yyyy **** Edition (where yyyy is the year of the program (i.e. 2022) and *** is the edition (Archive, Pro, Express). Uninstall ComicBase yyyy Resources. In general, different Publishers should be in separate Titles. However, there are a few exceptions. One that comes to mind is 'Phantom, The (1st Series)' which started with Gold Key, then changed to King, and then to Charlton. But, I would think (and hope) that Publishers from different countries wouldn't be combined.

Not sure if this helps or not but Using the Archive Edition, I tried the Wanted List report with these options (see attached) and it worked showing both Owned and Not Owned items that had Wanted checked.

Since the Publisher is Panini, this would not go under any of the Titles that have Marvel as the Publisher. It would be a new title 'Hawkeye Omnibus' Publisher Panini U.K. (see Deadpool: Pool Party! as an example).

As far as I can tell what you are asking for doesn't currently exist in CB. However, they may be a way to do this with a little bit of work (hopefully not too much for you). Using 'Add by Barcode' scan in comics. (the next part is the hard part.) With the 'Add by Barcode' still displayed, change all the conditions to something NOT being used (<ungraded> could be a good choice). Making sure the 'Display items after saving' is checked and click Save. You should have a display with all the issues you just scanned in. Select ALL the issues (CTRL+A is one way to do this), right-click and from the pop-up menu, select .Quick Change'. Change Condition to NM or some other condition. This assumes you want them all to be the same condition. If not, you will need to set each one individually (or in 'chunks' by selecting all the ones you want to set to one condition then selecting others to set to some other condition. At the very least All you issues you entered will have been added as single issues and not combined with existing issues (as long as the condition you used isn't being used).

Currently only Collection Report and Item Checklists, Price List, and Wanted List have the ability to display Custom Fields (You can make a request for this to be different under Feature Suggestions.) However there is a way to get what you want with a few extra steps. This is to use the Marked box (you can't be using Marked for other things at the same time, though). 1) Run the find like you want. 2) Select All Items (CTRL+A is one easy way to do this). 3) Right-click and select Quick Change. 4) Change: 'Marked' To: 'Is Checked' Once the items are Marked you can: 5) Use Report-> (report type) where Report type is one of the Reports that allow Custom Fields (Collction Report or Item Checklists are probably the best) 6) On the Report window, check the boxes for 'List Only Marked Issues' and teh various 'Custom Fields' you want. (You can make other selections but you need to check at least these) 7)Run the Report. NOTE: You will need to Find the Marked Issues and change then to 'Unchecked' to clear the Marked field before using it for anything else that would look for Marked being Checked.

I can confirm the indicia title is 'Jack Kirby's The Demon' and reprints the 16 issues from 'The Demon (1st Series)'. it does not have Omnibus anywhere on or in the book.

There appears to be some inconsistency with the various '...: The Original Marvel Years Omnibus' titles Some have Bk 1/HC & Bk 1/A while others have 1/HC & 1/A. If you want them to be Bk 1/HC & Bk 1/A (doesn't really matter to me), then to at least keep the 3 Kull Titles (Conqueror, Destroyer, Savage) consistent, 'Kull the Conqueror: The Original Marvel Years Omnibus' 1/HC & 1/A could also be changed to Bk 1/HC & Bk 1/A.

Do you have CB on two different computers (or possibly with two different logon ids)? In general, the people who order CB before the final color image was avaialble got the install with the Pencil splash start up. It should always use the same splash startup image until (and this is where it gets a little fuzzy)... You uninstall CB program and CB Resources before an re-install. However, I have done this and still got the pencil splash. But, recently, I has reason to delete items from Windows %tmp% folder. When I installed the next build of CB, I got the color splash. But it should be one or the other. It shouldn't switch back and forth between them.

To answer your question. No, there is no way in CB to display covers as you are asking for. The best you can do is open the Pictures folder (Right-click on the large cover image in top-left corner) and use Windows Photo Viewer (if you enable it) or some similar product.

By the way, if you use Add by Barcode, you can check 'Display items after saving', then select all the items, Right-click then from the pop-up menu, use Quick Change to set all the Custom Date column fields to the same date (assuming you got them all at the same time).
