When I now run the Top Gainers & Losers Reports, I receive a message that says "No items were in your collection inventory which matched those criteria". I have over 17,000 books in my collection so that seems unlikely. I did a renewal/upgrade on 11/16/2022 and the report hasn't worked since then.

Now the report stopped working for me again, with that message: "No items were in your collection inventory which matched those criteria."  I haven't done anything to try to diagnose or fix it yet. I'll update to the latest build later on and see what happens. For now, I just wanted to note that this problem seems to not only fix itself but also come back from the dead after you think it's gone.

version 25.5 is out now. 2 ways to get it:

-in the CB software, use menu item Internet->Check for Updates
-Go to CB website, and select My Account->Registrations. Click on the green download arrow which links to the revised program setup file

I've been having this same issue for at least a month now. I just downloaded and installed version 25.5.1.2202 and the problem continues. I also click on the "Preview" button to check without having to print.

Having trouble recreating the problem... Can you screenshot your Report Menu settings so we know what you've set for the Top Gainers & Losers report? We'll try to replicate the problem.

Just curious, what happens if you select 'All Items'?

It should work with 'Owned Items' (unless by some very unlikely event that none of your owned items gained or lost value). Just trying to find out if anything gets displayed or not.

I did try that, too, and I had the same message box saying, "No items were in your collection inventory which matched those criteria."

Kurt... Do other reports work for you like the Collection Report?

Also, when was the last time you ran a weekly content update (internet menu>check for updates)? I'd suggest doing that then run the Top Gainers & Losers Report afterwards

Yes, the Collection Report and Collection Overview(?) reports seem to work fine. I did try to do a Top Gainers & Losers on my Magazines, and it did generate a report, but it didn't make any sense. It only showed one magazine (an issue of FOOM) and it has lost value, but it showed on the Gain pages, too.

Kurt, email our support team directly at support@comicbase.com and let them know what's going on your end.

Also, use ComicBase Sidekick's 'Save to Cloud' feature to backup your database to your CB online account, the support team may need to inspect your database to replicate the problem to see what's going on with it.

I just got off the phone with Peter, and he was able to remote in and take a look at things and wasn't sure why there was something whacky going on with it not showing the 2025 listing - or something like that. Whatever he did, it is now working properly. Thank you Peter! ?
