  1. Hey Joe, get in touch with our support team at support@comicbase.com. Please send the serial number that's saved into the software (don't post it here) so we can verify its a valid number. To check in the software for this info, go the Help Menu>About ComicBase.
  2. You can force a redownload of the latest content update by going into the software's internet menu, click AND hold down the 'shift' key on your keyboard then select the 'check for updates' option; you will be prompted to re-download the latest content update.
  3. you're using version 2022 or 2023?
  4. feel free to contact our support team directly at support@comicbase.com OR 408-266-6883
  5. If the same stuff is updating every time, it may not actual be initially completing the update process. Get in contact with our support team directly at support@comicbase.com OR 408-266-6883.
  6. Its possible the database file is corrupt. Do you have a recently dated backup you can try to load in and update? By default, backups are stored in Documents/Human Computing/ComicBase Databases folder You can also try going into the File Menu>File Tools and running the optimize database option AND/Or Rebuild Lists option (Series info, List of owned series, and Item info options).
  7. Apple i think has this kinda of tech. We'll suggest it to the programming team.
  8. Please resend the corrections for this. I'll notify the Editorial team to keep an eye out for them and let you know if there are any issues with it.
  9. try a computer restart make sure the main CB software is not open when you try to interact with Sidekick. Try to get into Sidekick settings with a right-click with your mouse. Review your database list under the General Tab; if the file path for your main DB is no longer valid that could be the reason for your trouble, Use the plus and minus buttons to adjust the list to the proper file path. If that doesn't help, reach out to our support team (support@comicbase.com OR 408-266-6883)
  10. not sure of the time table but it will be revisited after the new version launches
  11. Thanks guys for the assist
  12. a user contacted me about this one, my comic knowledge doesn't go back that far back... This is published by Dell in 1937, treasury size, 10 cent and #2 noted on cover... anyone know anything about it so we can add it to the Master database?
  13. We're sticking with 'Dark Crisis' - we can mention in the notes field, the title changed with issue #4
  14. at this point, we'd prefer not to change those Earth-Prime issues, they've been around just long enough especially for our DC fans that we'd rather not adjust.
  15. added late last week to our master database, should be included in the upcoming content update.
  16. When our team gets the advanced publisher solicitation data, there's no mention of the series issue numbering, so we have no clue any of them are part of bigger overall series. The safe approach is just to list them as a stand alone issue and use the notes field to indicate the series issue number. Preferably, we'd like to have them listed under 1 title. We'll need to back track and revisit these 2 titles get all the issue listed underneath and remove the stand alone titles. If anyone would like to assist with this by sending in Corrected Data submissions that would be appreciated.
  17. Under Star Trek (5th Series)
  18. If you have a scanner we don't sell, we suggest contacting brand's customer service team to help you further set it up. Have a modern DC or Marvel UPC barcode handy to share in case they need it to point you to the right codes.
  19. no livestream likely this week (9/7/2022).
  20. was there a limited run of these released OR you got a personally graded copy? If its the later, you can just use #1/E and assign a CGC 9.8 condition to it.
  21. please screenshot what you're seeing so we know what you're referring to
  22. make sure you zero out any issues you own under the old title name and apply it to the right title listing. next time you update, the wrong title should get deleted.
  23. I think the interaction/prompts changed way back with CB2020's release. I'll mention your observation to the programming team.
  24. If you don't see the SAP Crystal Reports component listed in your Windows application list after installing CB2022, you may have some sort of protection software blocking it. Alternatively, here's a separate link to get that SAP Crystal Reports component installed if you need it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/i32i9dalm9ix2lc/CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_31.msi?dl=0 after installing it, try to run a report and see if it produces.
