    CB 2022 running on 4 PC's. Only one PC has this issue. When I try to download covers I get the "no new or larger covers available" message. Problem is I get this for everything I try, even those that download just fine from the other PC's.

    Before I upgraded, when I downloaded covers from Comicbase HQ I got covers without watermarks. (replacing the old watermarked covers) After upgrading to the 4K I now rarely get any new covers - which means I keep the old watermarked covers, obviously I would prefer none watermarked covers. Something seems to have changed at your end? Is the folder we download from different? Since January last year have been going through Comicbase from A-Z one by one getting better covers , and uploading hundreds of better covers when I find them, I made it to "N" in the alphabet but now it seems not worthwhile continuing because there are very little none watermarked…

    When I use issue custom fields I can see them. I can choose to view them in the columns. However when I use title custom fields, custom checks, I can't see them on the title screen - is this a technical issue or am I doing something wrong?

    I love this program and with the help of friends indexed about 10000+ books. Everything was working fine until the following happens When I try and run a collection report... Lets say titles I own.... and print preview... it gets about halfway thru to detective comics and then errors out. I get the following message. Im not sure about how to fix the database but I definitely need to. Please help Jason

    I just upgraded to Archive Edition 2022 but the screen saver is now gone. It is also no longer available in the change screen saver screen in Windows. Is this no longer an offered feature?

    Hey folks, if you use Avira anti-virus software for your computer, know that it blocks full installation of ComicBase. Even completely turning it off will still block installation of CB so we recommend don't use this software.

  7. Are the Sidekick - Save to Cloud Backups compressed before they are sent to the ComicBase cloud, or are they sent full-sized and then compressed on the server? I currently have limited network bandwidth (living off grid), so it would be beneficial to have a compressed version of my ComicBase database sent during the Save to Cloud process. Thanks...

    I upgraded to ComicBase 2022 Archive Edition and just tried to submit a request for a price check but it keeps failing with the following error: I had just completed a content update prior to this so it's not a connectivity or login issue. I also double checked my firewall settings and ComicBase was there but Sidekick wasn't, so I added Sidekick to the list and relaunched ComicBase, but still no joy with submitting a request for a price check. Any ideas what might be causing this? I am running Windows 11 Home edition.

  11. I was just told that DC will be publishing the last 2 issues of The Terrifics and last 2 issues of Supergirl in digital form only. Comixcology doesn't allow you to download digital DC comics that you purchased due to DRM. Is there a another way to put these into ComicBase?

  12. Loaded up ComicBase and it said I had a new update, and as usual I update. After it was done uploading, the search feature is extremely slow. Typically, I scan a barcode, and almost instantly it comes up. Well after the upload the search takes along time like 20-30 seconds. Also of the three comics i was trying add, all three came back not found? I was adding a copy of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur #39, and so i thought my variant cover was just simply not loaded. So I search for Moon Girl - and strangely there is no Moon Girl and Devil DInosaur just "Moon Girl (Lunella Lafayette). When I load into that, It then chances the title to "Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur…

    After the upgrade, even though I have the option for backups to the same folder set, it does not appear to be backing up the database. No error messages or anything. Just no backups. I also tested manually setting the location for the backups in case there was an issue, but same results.

  14. After downloading the install file and running it, I get a window that says "Please wait while windows configures ComicBase 2022 4K Archive Edition"...gathering required information. This has been running for over an hour and still nothing. The window doesn't go away. And yes, I am running windows 11. Is anyone else having this issue once they download and start to install CB 2022?

    I thought I understood the Quick Start Version to have a complete library of thumbnail pictures. However when I install the new quick start picture files, i have zero new picture?!? I've tried installing it several times.

    Maybe it's just a problem on my end, but the the Function Keys seem to have stopped working. I always used F6 to print ID labels but it doesn't seem to be working for me now. I've tried a few others like F3, F8, and F12 and none of them are working for me. Is anyone else experiencing this?

    I can deal with it, but others should be aware. I don't know how to push this info to them, so I'll post this here... I add new purchases to my collection scanning with CBMobile. I just added my this week purchases. When I used CB to add new purchases, it reported adding more than it should have. It appears that with the recent server hiccups, my scanned additions from last week were activated again. When I scan and add, I add the current date into the Notes field, allowing me to do an Advanced Find to verify everything went in and help me do cover scans. I delete these dates after I am done processing new additions. I can search for "11/2/21" and find the…

    Second pass on reconciling Unreconciled items. I've adjusted a couple to use custom Variations, I have a couple honest-to-goodness real variants not in the database that I'll submit, but I have a couple I can't find. These are listed as Unrecognized Comics... Giant-Size X-Men Tribute 1 X-Men: Mutant Empire 1 X-Men: Mutant Empire 2 X-Men: Mutant Empire 3 My database has a title "Giant-Size X-Men: Tribute to Wein & Cockrum", and "Giant-Size X-Men" (with no Tribute #1 issue), but no "Giant-Size X-Men Tribute". My Database has a title "X-Men: Mutant Empire", but it is a "Book", not a "Comic Book", and further does not have …

  22. my title says it all. The full error message reads: Problem dropping index; database disk image is malformed. This is a new download purchase and I'm using win 10

  23. I imported a CSV file (weird that it has to have a txt extension - very non-standard) and there are a few designated as "unknown publisher". What is the procedure to remove these from my collection or convert them to the correct title/publisher.? I cannot list the indivisual titles and I cannot delete the unknown publisher references from my database.

    I'm not really sure where to post this as it touches a lot of different areaed to content and corrections because it involves later printings of books that already exist in CB that don't actually exist (read on, I made this really complicated). It's sort of a technical issue as I believe my problem stems from the big update to CB 2021. I'll try to map it out and see where we get. I have lots of sketch cover variants, you know the blanks that were made to get the artist to sketch on. Years ago, I started entering my sketches in Fallen Son: The Death of Captain America #3.
